Himalayan Salt Lamp Original Replacement Cord SPT-2 with Dimmer, Base Assembly and 3 complementary 15W Bulbs

This replacement appears to be a perfect match for the one in my lamp as far as fit but unfortunately it is being returned because it was dead right out of the box. No bulb flicker, flash, spark - no nothing, just dead! I tried several known good bulbs with the same results. It is my opinion that these types of cords are all garbage. I bought this one to replace the original in my basket style salt lamp that the dimmer feature quit working - it would turn on and off but no longer dim after only a few months of use. I had chosen this particular lamp style due to the ability to dim the light for use as a nightlight but there seems to be a fault in the way these dimmer cords are designed. I have no issues with the seller but I question the safety and design of these dimmable cords. So disappointed and now have to search for a safe alternative, probably without the dimmer option.

I purchased a salt lamp that didn't have a base and this worked perfectly. It gives my lamp a nice glow without making it too hot and the cord is a nice length. I like that you can change the intensity of the bulb with the wheel and that it is not just a push button. Some people have had issues with the light bulbs but I haven not changed it since i purchased 5 months ago and its working great so I am not sure why some units are defective. Haven't had to replace the bulbs yet so i don't know if they work but overall good value for what you get.

Contrary to what they say it does not just fit all types of salt lamps, at least none of the 5 I have (different types). It took some custom cutting work to get it to fit properly but luckily it's made of plastic and this was achieved rather easily. It is a decent item if you're willing to put in a little time to fit it to your lamp, however it's rather expensive for a cord with a plastic base on the end.

I needed a new cord for my Himalayan salt lamp. The one that came with the original lamp I couldn't get the light bulbs to start working again. No matter what size light bulb I put in. I figured it had to be something to do with the wireing. so thankfully I saw that Amazon had a lamp that you could switch out again. And it's great because I really do like having my salt lamp on.

Great relacement for my original which broke! This one hasn’t broken and it’s been a while since I ordered it.

I put this in my salt lamp and the bulb went out or burnt out within 10 minutes. I put in a different brand and its still working after 10 hours.

Super dim even on highest setting. Not nearly the range of brightness the lamp base I was replacing had. I’m thinking of returning. And it’s not the bulbs. I’m using the same watt bulbs that I was in the other one. Picture shows the brightest setting.

Worked beautifully. I used it for a salt lamp I already had and it worked perfectly. Saved me from having to buy a completely new lamp. Would buy it again!
