Bought this for a birthday present for my husband to use with our smoker whose thermostat is not working properly. Solved that problem and also makes it much easier to smoke since you don't have to keep getting up to see if the termp is holding. Just check your Smartphone.

Will earn its money when you keep from ruining $60 briskets
Good thermometer with a pretty good app. Not sure about how to record cooks though, or if I can. Cooked a brisket on an Akorn Jr for 7 hours and was able to keep it between 230-260 for the entire time.

Great product
Works great, love the bluetooth to my phone. Definitely like that I don't have to go out and check the BBQ all the time while cooking roasts. The cord storage reels are great, keeps from having balled up cables everywhere.

Sent with probes that were recalled in 2014
The probes that were included were old ones that are defective and were recalled in 2014.All 3 of the meat probes have failed.Apparently not a very reputable company that sells recalled merchandise.
