Weight Only... No Frills
I bought this scale because I didn't need all the extra features that a smart scale usually has. I don't believe those scales can give accurate count on some of the obscure metrics. I don't believe that by sending a small electric current those scales can accurately give me fat % around my organs. Nor do I care, to be honest. I only want to monitor my weight. I had a difficult time finding a scale that did not have the electric sensors on it. I didn't want to send a small electric current through my body for data I don't want. After a lot of searching, I found this scale. This scale has worked great so far. The setup was very easy and intuitive. The app is user friendly as well. This scale also very easily lets me setup different profiles for my wife and kids. When I step on the scale, it knows me by my weight and records my weight to my account. When my wife uses it, the weight goes to her account. You don't need to select any user account before stepping on. The scale figures it out. A really nice additional feature is the graph that is shown on the screen at each weigh in. You can see your last few weigh ins and how you are trending. This is perhaps the most important, as individual weight can fluctuate day to day. It's the trends that matter, and with this scale you can see the trends every day. Using this scale each day is a great way to track your weight and make sure you are worrying about trends, not daily fluctuations. The app provides a nice regression line that evens out the fluctuations. I've been very pleased with this scale and would highly recommend it.

Great, lasts for years -- don't use if you have any kind of implant, though
The trick to setting up the WiFi connection is to do it via the Withings smartphone app (unfortunately). It tracks your weight and transmits results to the Withings app plus others, such as Fitbit, Cronometer, MyFitnessPal, and generates a graph to show your progress or to give you an incentive to try harder. I had the earlier model, which worked flawlessly for more than a decade. It still works for weight, but it stopped tracking BMI, which isn't a good indicator anyway according to recent science, and weather, which I don't need scales to do. But it was clearly starting to fail despite years of reliable service, so I ordered this newer model, which is the simplest one Withings sells. I highly recommend it. I'm pretty sure that this is the ONLY Withings Wi-Fi scale that does not send a small electrical current through the person's body when they're on it to weight themselves. People with pacemakers, implanted heart monitors (loop recorders) and similar implanted devices can use this one, a Withings rep told me, because it does not do that.

Very good scale
I have tried a number of electronic scales. This one is more expensive than many, but I have grown to like it. It has better accuracy that most, and shows weight to the nearest 0.1 pound, unlike most. Apparently, this is partly because it guides you to stand in a balanced position on the scale. If your weight is not balanced across the scale, it shows arrows to shift your body until it is balanced -- and then reports the weight. I like the feature where it shows the difference between the current and previous reading, along with a small graph of recent trends. You can also see BMI and other things, but I don't use that feature. The numbers and graph are easy to read. The app allows you to connect the scale to a website using WiFi. Once connected, you can see more historical data on the website, and do other things. The only issue I had was that the scale would not connect to my WiFi extender for some reason. I had to connect to the wireless router directly, but it did that successfully even with a pretty weak signal. For someone who wants an accurate scale, especially one that tracks weight readings, this is a good product. It also interfaces with other health-related devices through the app if that is desired.

great as long as you get past the set-up
Set-up was a major PIA. I have a samsung galaxy S23+. I put my phone onto wifi to ensure I had a very good internet connection. I downloaded the app and followed the instructions for the scale set-up. (Pull tab to start batteries, press power button for 3 seconds, and begin pairing process.) Super easy right? Nope. Pairing failed.... about 6-7 times it failed! I had to contact tech support. They had me restart my phone... then everything worked perfectly well. So, if you bought this scale and have trouble setting it up. Restart your phone before pairing with the scale, and make sure your phone has great internet reception. I have it standing on a tile floor that is relatively level. It measured my weight within a pound of my other scale (which is a high quality scale, but also 25 years old). I suspect it is accurate. To those who were upset that the scale's reading fluctuate within a pound or so if you reweigh yourself within a minute, that is because the standard error for all scales is several ounces, along with the fact that the precise position of your feet and arms always alters scale readings. It's not meant for that level of sensitivity. While struggling to set this up, I debated returning it. Now that I realize I only needed to restart the phone, I'm quite content with the app and the scale.

Caution: Strongly recommend reading before purchase.
This scale was a bit tricky to link up to IOS. I kept receiving an error. When I looked up the code, I was told that it was not compatible with "newer" iPhones--I have a 16 Plus. I finally got it to link by going through an older iPad and then the iPad and phone linked to each other. After that, it worked perfectly fine. HOWEVER, I must warn to be exceptionally careful. This scale on my bathroom (tile) and my den flooring (wood laminate) slips every time I stepped on it. Not just slight movement but full out flew out under my feet, each time. Seriously I could not be careful enough, it happened every time!! I then noticed that there are some pads things to put on the bottom that sits on the floor. However, those are not for slippage, they are for if you need to put your scale on carpet! Regardless I tried the scale with the carpet 'thingies' on. It's still quite dangerous but a tiny bit better. It moves every time I step on it. I put it up against a wall so it can only slip forward just a hair and not fly out from under my feet but the funny part is I can't see the scale because it's under the toilet paper holder (this is my 1/4 bath so quite small and this is the only place it will fit). If you are older I highly recommend you find another option until they fix this issue. If your young it will still happen but you but you can likely handle the fall better. Why did I keep it you might ask? My job offers points for health checks which go towards insurance depending how many you handle. I had a Fitbit scale I loved but unfortunately Google bought FitBit and that scale no longer syncs and Google has yet to find a patch. I get 150 points for a monthly weigh in for a scale that is danger and I can't see the reading. Withings please find a solution for this. If I didn't use the wall I would certainly fall again but now I would hit my head on the toilet or sink

Hooray, I can easily weigh myself! Darn, I can easily weigh myself...
I did a LOT of research before purchasing my smart scale. I am simultaneously happy with my purchase and regretful of it. The Nokia Smart Scale works as advertised. This thing is really easy to set up and use. Turn on the scale, install the app, sync. If you use other apps, sync those up. I have synced it with a few apps, including MyFitnessPal. I like the tracking aspect of the app, providing a chart of your day to day weight. As someone who analyzes numbers for a living, it's quite sweet. In terms of mindfully keeping track of your weight, I can't imagine a better scale...unless there's one out there that lies to you to spare your feelings. I regret this purchase BECAUSE it's so easy to use. I put it in front of my closet, and I step on it before I pick my suit for the day. A second or two on the scale and I get my weight, my BMI, and the weather. And since it's winter, I feel like every morning, the scale tells me "You're overweight and it's freezing out. Have a nice day at work while I lie here snoozing all day." It's possibly that the harsh tone of the scale is all in my mind. (At least that's what the voices in my head tell me.) Seriously though, if you are taking your weight management seriously but want to minimize the effort, this is an excellent product that does what it says it does. Who knew Nokia still made relevant products?

definitely recommend this scale
This is a high quality scale. Other than the spike in weight for the week of Christmas, I love being able to look at the graph of my weight loss journey.

A smart scale you can stop thinking about once you set it up
TL;DR - While it's a bit of a pain to set up at first, it works flawlessly after and gets out of your way The Good: - Connects with fitbit app - Connect it once when you set it up, then forget about it. All weighings are automatically pushed to wherever you set it up to push them (fitbit app, withings app, apple fitness) - Accurate - Weighs quickly without the need to "tap it first" The Meh: - Setting it up is a bit of a process. Took me about a half an hour and a couple of failed starts The Bad: - It does send your stats to a server that Withings runs, if you want to have it auto-sync (which is the primary reason to get it). That said, if auto-sync is a feature you want, you won't find anything in this price range that doesn't do that. Before this, I had bought a fitbit aria scale, because I wanted to track my weight in the same place as my calories and sleep. The aria scale had two major problems: 1 - the aria requires you to pull out your phone, hit some buttons, stand on the scale, and wait for it to connect to save your measurements. Huge pain in the still-too-large behind. 2 - the aria is accurate +/- ~7 lbs. Which is to say, it isn't accurate. This scale has no such problems. Setup is a little bit of a hassle, but it only needs to be done once.

Withings Scale - Worth it!
Honestly really impressed with this purchase. It functions exactly as advertised and the scale itself is very prompt with all kinds of information once it’s connected. Was easy to connect it to my phone and the app. It is a bit of a splurge if you’re on a budget obviously but worth it I feel. Also, a highlight for me was that it came with its own batteries, and not just Amazon basics, Duracell! Highly reccomend this scale for keeping a close and precise eye on weight fluctuations, also, for those like myself with a higher weight to keep track of. This scale has got you, confidently.

It's too good and long life and accurate

Accurate and good value. Limited lifespan.
Our fourth Withings scale in about 13 years. We first purchased our first Withings scale many years ago before Withings sold the company to Nokia. These scales became an essential part of our life, mainly because of their accuracy and integration with Apple health. They have one issue which is that they only tend to last about three years before needing replacing for one reason or another. Our last Withings scale was one of their more expensive models which had a built in rechargeable battery which would no longer take a charge. The company was sold by Nokia and is now trading as Withings again. Because of the lack of longevity issue we purchased the £59 base body model this time and find it as accurate as the £150 model we had previously. Thie Body model uses AAA batteries which means we are not reliant on the inaccessible rechargeable battery. Th Body model, seems to be just as accurate as the higher priced range and includes all the basic functions, weight, BMI, trend graph, reliable WiFi connection and weather forecast but lacks any of the premium heart and blood circulation measurements which I get from my watch anyway. If you can afford to buy a replacement after two to four years use I would recommend Withings Great value for a well known brand although cheaper scales are available. Someone mentioned the need to pay a subscription - I don’t know where that came from, I have never been asked to subscribe, neither do I get any annoying marketing emails. Great product all round.

Dobra waga
Waga działa dobrze. Rozpoznaje użytkowników. Usunąłem krytykę software, bo po aktualizacjach działa zasadniczo niezawodnie, przynajmniej jeśli chodzi o synchronizację z Apple Health
