great size, great build quality, absolutely worthless as a charging cable. Finally got a chance to take this with me over the weekend to use with a portable battery charger I purchased, will not work with iPhone 6, iPad Air 2, nor my wife's iPhone 5s. Brought it home, plugged it into the computer and wall charger, still no go. Definitely not recommended.*edit* the seller contacted me today stating they are shipping a new cable to replace the defective model with. Hadn't even reached out to them yet, they were proactive based on the review. So, I'm editing this to 4 stars for now, and will raise or lower as needed if the replacement shows up defective. This time, I will test it right from the get go instead of waiting.

If you plug it in, it works. Nothing more, nothing less. Is it worth the price? Probably not, but what are you going to do about it? Buy a cheap Chinese cable that your iPhone doesn't appreciate? Maybe that works for you, but I'm tired of hearing about the cable not being good enough. So I bought this one.

I keep my iPhone 6S Plus in the center console in my 2016 Corvette Stingray. Apple's Lightning cable is too long, I have to coil it up which takes up a lot of space in the center console. Not only is that a mess but it leaves very little room for my iPhone.I measured the space between my USB jack in the center console and where the Lightning port on my phone was, it came out to about 7-8 inches. So I searched Amazon for something perfect for the job and found a few options in this length or close to it. This cable had good reviews and was the only one I found that came in Space Gray to match my phone, so I ordered it.Pros:-It just plain works. No unsupported error messages or anything like that. I can tell no difference in use from Apple's cable.-I didn't realize it had a flat wire when I placed the order, this turned out to be a bonus. I'm working in a very tight space and the thin wire certainly made things easier.-Price was quite reasonable compared to what I would have paid in a local store, oh wait you'd never find such an interesting product locally.-It looks great, the cable has a handsome design.Cons:-All of my other Apple Lightning cables now look underwhelming in comparison.

Good quality. Charges well. However, what I received was not 7.5 inches in length. It's about 5 inches max - on it's best day.The length was important for what I was using it for.

Great little cable. No long have the extra feet of cord on the counter.

Perfect length cable to allow my iPad or iPhone to act as a tether to my MacBook when traveling. I like not having to spool up the longer Apple cable in my backpack each time I use it. I know that sounds like a small thing, but not having to un-knot it every time I use it is one less thing to get aggravated about.

update: Well this cable lasted about five months before it started not working and when I say not working, I mean I'd connect it and instead of music all I could hear was a very loud buzzing. A cable in your car gets a lot of use, twisting and bending and generally, it leads a hard life. But I paid a premium for this cable thinking it would last longer than five months before I had to replace it. I hope the new one I bought, from an electronics chain that went out of business and is now back in business, lasts longer than this one.Bought this to replace another brand that fell apart in weeks in my car. I love this thing. It's strong and short and perfect for charging my phone in the car without excess cord to deal with. Super happy with it.
