Perfect guide to keep boat lined up. Easy to install. All parts included.
Great guide for my trailer. Easy install and quite well made. It is strong. This bolted up nicely to my trailer frame.I like this guide. I wish I had bought this sooner.

Easy install
Very easy to install, I put this on boat trailer with my 5 year old grandson. It’s heavy duty quality steel. Only thing you will want to do is add a self tapping screw to the sleeve and perfect!

Guide pole review
Great poles, strong construction, strong material, HOWEVER-Solar pole lights blink red, 1 arrived inop, and same one broke in wind pulling boat on second trip out.

Rusted off with minimal use!
Don’t buy! Rusted out in less than two years don’t buy!I use water and soap after each salt water use and don’t use my boat that often! So very minimal wear and rusted in about a year and a half to where it broke off the trailer at the launch! Junk….spend the extra money for stainless or find a post that’s actually galvanized or corrosion resistant, this ain’t it!

This is for the 46" Aluminum square tubing version only. Not bad!
So there is very little information on the 46" Aluminum Tube version out there so I thought I would fill some in.These are indeed thick walled aluminum tubing. Probably about 3 to 4mm thick or .15" roughly so they are substantial and stiff.Being aluminum water will not hurt them, even salt water much. They are unfinished. The tubing is 1.5" square from measurements.A 2" schedule 40 pvc pipe will fit right over them and rotate fairly easily so that is good. Nice way to prevent damage to your boat when it rubs against them loading or unloading. The bracketry provided is not aluminum but is galvanized. It is really designed for smaller trailers without standing platforms behind the fenders and just a frame member to bolt around.Would not work for my trailer.I'm going to have to make custom brackets to mount them to my platforms. The hardware/ubolts provided are not very strong and I will not be using them. There is a welded on tab partway up the tube vertical designed to keep the pvc tubing from sliding all the way down I would imagine. It is very sharp cornered and will need to have the corners ground off or it will surely draw alot of blood at some point on some part of your body.I think the brackets provided would have worked for me if there were two or more of them. They are only about 5" long and just don't grab enough length of the horizontal part of the tubes to hole them from twisting or bending if they take a good hit from the boat on windy days. The need to be about 12" long at least for me and I will make mine that long minimum. The are bent at 90 degrees also instead of slightly canted out which would have been a better design.I may try to open up the bend slightly on mine, not sure if I could even bend that aluminum tubing tho. It is STIFF!.Overall the actual poles are good but the mounting hardware not so much which seems to be the consensus for these kits.I've taking off two stars for the mounting system being kind of half baked. However there are just not that many good options to buy out there short of having something custom made and welded in.Hope this helps somebody.

Good product
I bought these at a discounted price. They are perfect for what I needed I topped them off with 2 inch schedule 40pvc. Yes the u bolts are fairly small in diameter but if you do not overtighten then they are just fine. They are stainless steel they will not stretch they break. I haven't had any problems with mine at all.

Tall enough for our Pontoon - strong enough to bump onto the trailer
Easy to install and flexible enough to provide multiple options on how you install them.
