Privacy Screen for MacBook Pro 13.3 Inch Late 2016 and Current 2019 Models| 2-Way Magnetic Privacy Filter for Late 2016 MacBook Including 13.3 Touch Easy Installation

The media could not be loaded.  I have been thinking if I should buy a not coz it is the first time I am trying magnetic filter and it’s really not cheap. But i’m Glad I did. However, i only give 4 stars becoz of 2 things - 1) the privacy is only left and right side view not 360 degrees 2) the bottom of the filter is not magnetic so it can flip outwards if u lower inwards your screen. Small sticker plastic is given to stable and fix this issue. I have not use them yet becoz it’s too troublesome and doesn’t really look nice. The photos attached are taking when my MAC is at its max brightness.

The screen itself is good and does what it is advertized to do. And I love the ease with which it comes on and off - as advertized, this is way better than the 3M adhesive strips. But the magnetic strip is too thick - the screen prevents the Macbook Pro from closing properly. Indeed, when I took my computer to the Genius Bar to ask about something else, they strongly recommended that I not close and carry the laptop with either the privacy screen or the keyboard cover I had on it. Both, they said, could cause harm to the screen over time. So you have to carry the privacy screen separately and use it when needed - a bit of a hassle.

this was easy to put on my computer! even came with a cloth to clean the screen and protector! The reason or four starts is that the sticker tape pieces become unstuck sometimes and I have had to apply them over and over and ran out because it only comes with 6 so now the protecter will come off sometimes

Easy to attach and remove. Does a good job of preventing others from viewing. Don't like the fact that the Macbook doesn't close all the way when the product is in place - but this is clearly disclosed in the instructions and since it can be easily removed, it hasn't been a problem.

I want to give it more than three stars, but this product has to be removed everytime I close the computer screen, which limits its effectiveness for me.

I actually REALLY like this. I was skeptical of a magnetic screen, but hoping it would work because I hate the privacy screen that you have to tape tot you computer. plus, I don't always need a privacy screen. its nice that I can put it on and take it off. Its actually so perfect! it has a heavy very thin cardboard case to put it in for transport. I put the cardboard thin case in my computer sleeve along along with the computer and its perfect.NOTE: COMPUTER DOES NOT CLOSE WITH THIS SCREN IN PLACE. IT DOES NOT CLOSE.I will add that I have a case on computer although I do not believe that makes a difference because it closes fine without the privacy screen. Which goes back to this screen being really useful as a removable screen.

At first, it was a great screen that did as advertised. Sure, there is a tiny gap that doesn't allow it to close all the way, but that didn't impact my laptop's performance. The biggest issue was that now, just a few weeks after purchasing and using it, the screen doesn't stay all the way flat on my laptop screen and therefore the contents on my screen are blurry and dark. It has lost it's ability to hold on to my screen and therefore isn't really functional anymore.

Solid product. Does exactly what it says and the magnetic attachment is so much nicer than the adhesives I have used in the past. The only thing I would have liked to know (although I still would have bought it) is that the company doesn't close all the way with the screen on it. The older MacBook Pro I used had enough room on it to let the screen fit in it and completely close. I get that this newer version of the MacBook Pro is so slip there is no room for a protective screen. Don't let that take away from how great this thing is, just letting you know.I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for some privacy on their computer.
