Works Great
I was able to open up some long lost laptop drives that were in the drawer for quite a few years. Was able to transfer pics that were long forgotten

works well, though you get what you pay for. Similarly priced items also come with power supply options. haven't had any real problems with it so far.

All you need if you already have a power source.
My windows 10 machine had no problem with an old xp hard drive. did not need firmware or drivers. Took the old hard drive out of my mom’s old xp desktop she was throwing out. My pc’s power supply had the correct power connector, but no way to plug into the IDE 40 pin connector. With everything connected I fired up the pc. The hdd rattled loudly and my pc detected the hard drive. Search and move the old pictures to my new hdd. Wiped the old drive and can now get rid of it.

No power supply, no instructions.
No instructions provided, and no power supply of any kind to power the hard drive. Product page had no clarifying information either. Basically useless without some kind of power supply.

Works but seems crappy. No LEDs to indicate connection or data transfer. Will do in a crunch or as a backup adapter
