UPDATE #2: Just bought a second set of these. After almost two years, I'm still extremely satisfied with the Photoolex batteries, and have a demanding week-long gig coming up, and thought it'd be nice to have four batteries... just in case... even though I probably won't need them.UPDATE: I just got back from three days of near-constant shooting, six hours a day, in Mexico City, and I only ran one of these batteries down 50%... didn't even need the second one! Far out-performed the Canon battery.Two batteries and a charger for half what Canon charges for just one battery! As soon as I got them, I immediately put my Canon battery in the Photoolex charger, and one of the Photoolex batteries in my Canon charger. So far, so good... nothing weird. They both charged fairly quickly, and when finished, I placed the Photoolex battery in my EOS70D. It worked fine... no issues. I'll be shooting in CDMX three days next week, so I'll see how well they hold up compared to the Canon battery, and will report back if I have any complaints.

I use a full frame Canon camera and usually shoot for at least 2 hrs straight, sometimes more - taking up to 500 photos in a shoot. These batteries hold up great and I have not seen any sign of running out of juice during a shoot - I do keep both on hand and switch them out before they are totally empty, but they are great quality for the price and the charger works great as well.

Got this as backup batteries as I am about to do an all day shoot far from electricity. Left the batteries on to charge for several hours. The LED charge indicators seem to work correctly and turned green when done. I put one in the camera to make sure it works. I got a message that it can not be charged in the camera and askes if I want to continue. I did and they work great.After a few weeks I plugged in the charger to top off the batteries before use. One showed a full charge, so I took it back out of the charger. The other, which was barely used, never turned green. I moved the battery to the other side and it immediately turned green, so it was just the charge indicator.Time will tell how well they last and hold a charge, but I feel comfortable using these in my expensive camera.

This is an updated review. Vendor did great at customer service, sent me new ones at a great discount, get about 300 clicks out of each. Don't let your camera meter fool you, they will drop down to 2 bars very quickly and then go back up sometimes, so I keep an eye on my shutter count. I would usually say not bad for the price but not this time. Two weeks old, each 1 used once, 1 is dead the other lasts about 120 clicks, will be returning after I get back from vacation. On a positive note both of my camera bodies did recognize them.

Hi...I learned all about power many years ago from Scotty on Star Trek..This unit was a gift to my Nephew, who is new to photography and his Canon Camera.. This duel power supply is a perfect choice and match who needs a working battery and one ready to go on a moments notice.The pricing was very reasonable, and doesn't require a lot of space when in use. So far so good, they hold charge very very well, but they're still new so that doesn't surprise me. Anyway, I did use them for a shoot and I did over 3k shots and it wasn't even at the half way mark. Impressive. I've tried other off market brands and so far these are the best that I could find. I'm not disappointed. I will update if anything changes. My only complaint is that charging takes pretty much the whole night. lol

Got these as extra back up for my cannon 60D and so far so great. I’ve had my battery died multiple times and having to plug it into a wall to charge it’s annoying. Not sure how long they will last but so far it’s good to know that I have other charged batteries when I record a lot of video. Great price and great for piece of mind.
