Wallee Wall Mount Disk for the Wallee Mountable Protective Case, White

These Wallee wall mounts work with the Wallee family of iPad cases. You can install a wall mount fairly easy into a flat surface using the supplied hardware (you'll need to bring your own drill and Phillips-head screwdriver). You can also use the wall mount with other parts in the Wallee system, including the VESA adapter. The wall mount is fairly easy to install. If you're going to add it to a wall, you'll need to be comfortable with making some holes in your wall. The mount itself isn't very heavy, but it'd be a good idea to ensure that your wall can hold a few pounds worth of weight, so your iPad doesn't come crashing down. Be sure to watch the installation video on the Wallee website, as it provides the best directions for installing a wall mount.I'm using two of these and they work great.

I was so excited to receive the wall mount for the wallee iPad cover thinking the cover would soon to follow, then I read the packing slip and the cover should have been included. Got the $10 part sans $40 part Emailed them of missing item and waiting for response.

OK SO1. It looks like the company replaced the metal wall mounting disc with a rubber one. There was not metal disc in the pack and the video shows no rubber disc, so....2. Then here is the really crazy part: The X thing is attached to the round hard plastic disk.3. Take your Phillips head screw driver and unscrew the X from the base.4. Note the circled one-sided-tape. Set it to the side5. Do the measurements like they have in the video to place the device level.6. Then, fit/lock the round rubber disc into the hard plastic disc; then screw the whole shebang into the wall with your four screws, ( none in the pack )7. Remove the paper from the round tape, and place sickly side down onto the round hard disk ( an Aesthetic to cover the holes)8. Lastly, put the X on by lining up the middle hole and the four little protrusions under the X, screw it in.9. That should do it. Make sure you screw it enough to secure it, BUT not so tight that you can't rotate from portrait to landscape. Whew. Now that took a minute to figure out.Why don't they change their web site to reflect the changes in design. I guess they think we are all engineers. After reading positive reviews I purchased the Wallee Wall Mount Disc, the IPad Case and the VESA Adapter. I was planning on using this set up to mount my IPad to a VESA wall arm bracket for my retail store.There are no instructions included. The website printed on the box for instructions doesn't work. The email link on their site doesn't work when you click it. I copied and pasted it in to my mail program but got a return message saying their customer service was being updated to please click on the tab on the left side of their website. There is no tab.After much searching I finally found a form to fill out - but no response because they don't work on weekends. Frustrated I send a second message saying how frustrated I am.On Monday morning they inform me that they don't think they should have to work on weekends - and that they have happy customers in over 70 countries so they are sure they can make me happy. They then tell me about the instructions on their website for the Wall Mount Disc. These instructions show how to mount a wall mount disc to the wall.I needed instructions for mounting the Wall Mount Disc to the VESA adapter, NOT to a wall, which I explained in both emails I sent.The Wall Mount Disk I was sent does not look like what is on their video, it has a rubber disc gasket that goes against the back of the mount w 4 holes and then the plastic disc that has the X on the front. No metal back piece...They ask for photos. I send them.And that is the last I hear from them. I have repeatedly sent requests for an RMA so I can return their products since I can't use them. They have never responded even though their website states they will gladly refund if you are not completely happy.Now the icing on the cake: This company is located in Australia and they charge you a foreign exchange rate on your credit card when you purchase from them. They don't bother to tell you that at any point on their website, you get to find this out when you get your credit card statement.I am now having to dispute the charges through my credit card company -A much better product is the Pad Grip: [...]Well made, with lots of configurations. I have the magnetic base model. This is a very secure product - mine is used to hold my IPad which is my cash register for my retail business. I recently purchased a wall mounted articulating arm that is VESA compatible. I removed the Pad Grip from the magnetic base and attached it to a VESA plate (found everywhere for cheap money) and then attached this plate to the articulating arm. Awesome product - Great customer service.

I would NOT recommend this product. This company sells sub par product and they customer service is HORRIBLE. They will LIE to your repeatedly and never follow your on there promise even thought its in writing. I purchased directly from them and it took 4 months to arrive and when it did it was not worth the price or the wait. It offers ZERO protection for your ipad. The car attachment is probably made in China as its of low quality. You can't adjust your ipad up or down to prevent glare while in the car. Don't support this company.

Great product! I finally have my iPad mounted on the wall without spending a fortune like other products!Easy to install as well.
