Great product and will work with the Honeywell Lyric T5 which has a square mounting base. Who says a square peg won't fit in a round hole hasn't tried this yet...

Looks great! Fits perfectly. As expected. Price may be a little high for what it is though.

I'm not slamming the manufacturing of this product, but as some have said it is a flimsy-like plastic and you will probably need some kind of extra support to hold it flat on the wall -- I cannot disagree with that. I got this because the old thermostat was larger than the Nest. It seemed to be plate was large enough and would cover the old paint. The Nest came with a wall plate and I ended up using it instead as it was a hard plastic. Then when a hardware store and had them match the new paint and now you'd never know. Packaging was great and so was the delivery time.

If you're looking for an elegant plate to put behind your pricey Nest, this is the last thing you want to look at. This is literally a flimsy sticker made of sadness and double-sided tape. You would literally do better just painting a silver rectangle on your wall and putting the Nest on top of it.I award you no stars, and may god have mercy on your soul!
