AONE Safe Driving - Collision Avoidance - Smart Car Solution for Android Phones

US Mail delivered my AONE system yesterday that shipped directly from Korea. At this point I am impressed but still learning its features and the the technology in general. Since at $59 on Amazon (USA) I could not resist the chance to learn more about the maker and the technology. I figured it was great chance to learn how AONE works and I am very interested in their coming HM310 and HX510 systems.I had actually ordered a solution costing 30x the price of this AONE but I was going to have to drive hundreds of miles and have a stranger hacking my under the dash wiring but when they delayed the installation I just canceled that order after reading some online reviews.While I would like a new car with active Lane Changing steering and active Braking the cost is out of my reach today. I am not kidding myself that $59 is going to be anymore than a teaser for a self driving car but it is a way for me to start to experience and learn about what is coming in driver aids today. Currently I am learning more about the system after each trip.Unlike the other expensive add on driving aids the AONE appealled to me because it uses our on-board computer connection so no cutting and splicing of our 2010 Subaru Forester's wiring. Our car was in the software set up options I guess since it is 2008 or newer. We have extra older Android Smart Phones so it was just the $59 for the system in our case.If one thinks this $59 option is going to be the same that will come an a new car a like small Ford, Subara, etc as part of a $2000 or more option package then you best just spend the $35K plus and get a new car with these driving aids from the factory.I am 66 and excited about this chance to get first hand experience with this merging technology for only $59. I still have a lot to learn. For starters I would get my own double sided tape or a tempory suction cup mounting solution. The supplied mounting solution is awesome as in neat and strong but it does not offer a REDO. In hindsight I would have liked to have tried diffent mounting options to see how they may impact the sensitive of the sensors in the software.Again my objective is being met by this AONE system but one should not expect it to perform like one costing 10x,20x or 30x more money. It is letting me work with this system to learn the software and technology in general without hacking my car's wiring system or bank account as I as I look forward to getting their HM310 system expected to be released in the first half of 2018.

Received in about a week. Well packed, good presentation. Frist impression: Package contains : 1. Mounting bracket for YOUR phonoe, 2. Wire and plug to plug into Your cars OBD. 3. Booklet with what appears to be, good instructions. That's it. System uses your phone, and App,(downloaded from Google play). Detection of events uses phone Camera, rather than Radar which other systems use.I will update when I have used the system.Update. Have unit working but have not used because the phone Mount will not work in my car. Trying to find a mount that will work for me. Asked question can external camera be used

I am still having some problems with calibration. I am not getting accurate speed reading etc. I will check back at later date one way or the other.

I am not able to see any features in your mobile app. I have connected to the obd2 ble but no assistant. My phone is samsung s7 edge

very unreliable, bad instruction and bad support. half of the alerts are not relevant and when needed arbitrarily some times u get the warning and sometime not.
