Fantastic!
These mutes are great! Work like they should. When I first got them, the hole for the string to fit through was not cut completely through. I just cut through the little rubber that was still stuck and it works great! Glad I bought them.

Convenient
I've lost a few mutes, so I'm glad they came in package of three. Was using a hard mute in the meanti?e, but the music doesn't usually give you time to get it on and off.

It’s good for the most part
Worked as intended. Doesn’t mute your violin as much like an actual full rubber mute but it lowers down the sound and ringing by atleast 8% on my violin. My only complaint is the rubber is too big and thick.

Not Worth It
These Violin mutes are not worth it. First of all, they’re very thick, and the holes are very small that you can’t even place it on the bridge. Overall, these were one of the worst mutes I’ve used.

They work just fine.
They do just what they need to. Nice that it comes in a 3 pack. These can stay on the instrument just fine, even when not in use. So you would think you’d only need to buy these once. However, I have teenagers, so I am glad for the three pack!

A piece of rubber
for your violin. Makes the sound less soundy.Isn't this kind of a given? This is also the correct orchestral mute to use. Not a practice mute. Mutes far less than the traditional "full bridge" mute. This is what the first violinist uses when Hilary Hahn is the soloist.I just leave it below the bridge until I need it. Stays on my violin pretty much forever.

Just get it already
It’s cheap. It fits. It does the job. It’s perfect. Stop scrolling through the reviews and just get it already, it won’t let you down!

These are ok, but they take a bit of effort to get on the bridge. The slit is small and the rubber is thick, so you have to kind of work it on. I keep these as extras so I'll never be without a mute, but if you want something you can slide on quickly during a rest, maybe try something else.
