Brooke Bond Red Label Loose Leaf Black Tea, 31.7 oz 2-Pack (2 x 31.7 oz / 2 x 900 g)

We love Red Label tea and usually buy our supply at our local Indian store. However, I love the option of just having it in bulk and sent right to my doorstep! Red Label has a unique orange pekoe black tea flavor. It's strong, but not overpowering. Much richer than Lipton and great for an everyday tea. We prefer the loose leaf since we can adjust the strength and easily use it in K-Cups. I've bought from this particular seller several times and always had excellent service and on time deliveries. However, the packaging can be inconsistent. That doesn't mean bad, it just means the boxes may be different. Last time I received 2 beautiful Red Label tea tins with my loose tea. It was a wonderful surprise! Really quite lovely and I'll be repurposing them for sure.

I first ran across Brooke Bond Red Label tea at an Indian restaurant, where I enjoyed the tea and asked about it. I had some trouble finding it in bulk, so I switched to PG Tips, also a good tea. I was buying the large bags of "catering" tea, whatever that is. That tea was not the traditional leaf shape you find at many fine tea shops, but rather a grainy, sand pebble sized bit, like rubbed tea or perhaps pelletized. This tea is also like that for the most part. It is much lower in dust or powder compared to the last few kilos of PG Tips. I really like the flavor of this last bag of Brooke Bond, less tannic it seems.

This is a boldly flavored black tea, strong enough that you can fill a thermos with 2 teaspoons or make a gallon of sweet tea with 3 teaspoons. A staple in my household.

best deal I've seen so far. Finally got myself off of coffee with this. Rich flavour, and stronger than most UK teas (yorkshire, twinings, etc.) I was worried this tea would be old -- can be a problem when getting deals on teas not usually sold in my country... but no, it was quite fresh. fresher than what they served me on the train, lol.

This is my English friend's favorite tea. I bought it to restock her pantry and she said this is the best price she's ever paid.
