Great for children's project - made mini shrine in the month of May for a 6 yr. old.

Small and cheap

I recently purchased this dashboard Jesus a few days ago for me and my girlfriend. It is wonderful and my girlfriend was thrilled. I have Jesus mounted in my Jeep. I remember my grandmother having a dashboard Jesus when I was a kid and I always thought it was really cool. Jesus is about four to five inches tall and His base is about one inch squared. There is a magnet on the base. (Who has a metal dashboard these days?). Anyway, that was not a problem at all. I went to my local hardware store and bought some Velcro so that Jesus would stay in place. I am not a superstitious person and I do not expect my dashboard Jesus to protect me when I am climbing up rocks in my Wrangler. For me, it is a nice visual aid to remind me about Jesus when I get into my Jeep.

I purchased this for my friend. She’s a retiree from the public school system, going on 14 years now, and she has to watch every penny. As a result, she is a nervous driver. She hates to drive in the big city. She was delighted with this statue being in the car. It helps her to calm down and focus. Many thanks!
