Ozone Generator Air Purifier Ionizer & Deodorizer for up to 3,500 Sq/Ft with 2 Ceramic Ozone Plates

Came in 1 day, via prime. Saw the previous reviews and was weary. Ive owned 2 other ozone generators and this one has less frills. As well the price is 1/3rd the cost. Its actually pretty much sized like all others, uses two plates at the same time. At first it was a little loud, compared to my plastic freshair type units I had with the lcd display at the bottom and the crappy buttons that always failed.This unit has knobs that seem solid and most likely will never die thus rendering the unit a failure. The noise of the ozone generation (sounds like static) went away quite a bit. Turned all the way up it seems to produce a good amount of ozone. Also someone in the home noted that this one smelt better. Which is great cause I love running it.As far as generators they work wonders on smells, food, musty, dirty clothes, stinky shoes, pets or stinky cars. I literally think everyone should own one of these and this thing is big enough, strong enough and cheap enough and somewhat decent looking honestly. They just really help freshen and de-stink everything in our lives and thinking about it how much air freshner and sprays and cleaners do you use to remove smell. Nothing compares to these as far as overall smell removal from a home. Everything else just tries to cover it up, this will make almost any home smell amazing.Oh and just fyi, all the units you see on here that look similiar....most likely its the same units. So find the best price, these things work great and im very picky. Does this have the uv light...which who knows how well that works, no. But this thing does its job well.This was purchased through amazon via puning sanqiao , most likely the manufacturer (reseller).Im giving 5 stars because price, performance and shipping speed all nailed my expectations.As far as how long it runs, ill try to do a long term update.

Back in the 90's a doctor actually prescribed this machine to my older brother for his asthma and insurance covered it. That's how well this works.We all suffer from allergies up until well into the end of fall and my mom randomly remembered this. She was shocked that amazon had it. It's a little different than our old one but it works just as well. Our house is about 1700 square foot and you can smell clear air (almost like a faint chlorine smell) in every room as long as the doors are all open. My allergies are mild now and I love walking in the house and smelling fresh air. You will not regret this purchase.

I have used this type (various brands) of air purifier in my home for years, and have always loved how fresh it keeps the air quality indoors. We have 3 small dogs, 2 cats and 4 humans who come and go, bringing in pollen and allergens, as well as cooking odors with dinner time. For all of these issues, the ozone is necessary at times to neutralize and add fresheness to the air. I keep it set on a plug in lamp timer to periodically kick on and off. Just turn the dial to adjust the amount of ozone it puts out...a good general rule is dial it down or shut it off when you can start to smell the ozone. With that said, these units last a few years, and we do get our money's worth out of them. However, about 7 months ago we purchased this particular brand since it looked like it was relatively similar to the unit we had in the past that needed replacing. This new unit only lasted the 7 months, slowly reducing the fan velocity and the amount of ozone output, even though we had replaced the ceramic plates and kept it dust free. I'm convinced it had a manufacturer defect, since past units have lasted years, not months. After calling Amazon customer care, the unit was replaced at no charge (it does have a 1 full year warranty against defects). The care representative sent out a new unit, and dispatched a UPS pickup for the defective one, which I just placed in the box for the new one just received. It was a very simple process and very convenient, thanks to Amazon's attention to service. Now that we have the new unit working the house is fresh once again. Our house is so busy, we really can't be without one of these. Oh, and another great thing about these units is that you can place it in a bathroom that tends to get musty or mildew in the tile grout, turn it on with the door closed for about an hour...it will keep a steamy bathroom from growing mold and easier to clean!

This looks like a viable product. So far it is working well I have had several purifiers and had a good experience. Hoping this one will be the same.

I love this thing! I've been having a lot of congestion for the last couple of months and bought this in desperation for something to improve the air quality in my house (1,500 SF). We live in an extremely dry climate and have four dogs and cats that are indoor/outdoor pets. They track in lots of dust and dirt, especially in the winter months. This ionizer has resulted in an immediate improvement in my ability to breathe. We run the ionizer on high when we're at home and on medium or off when we're gone. We use it in the living room in the evenings and move it into the bedroom for overnight. We run the ionizer on low overnight. We use the ozonator on low off-and-on when we're at home and awake. I have not experienced any irritation from the ozone. I love the way it smells like it just rained, but I understand some people don't like the smell. It has dramatically improved the pet odors in our house as well as the stale smell of recycled air from having the house closed up all winter. Sweeping the floor is also a different experience with this thing because the dust and pet hair seem to "stick" together rather than swirling around in circles and going airborne. This makes it easier to clean up. When the weather's nice, we like to open the doors and windows and let in lots of fresh air. This is the next best thing! Highly recommended!
