This is a review for the Litter-Robot Supply Kit by Whisker. I have been a loyal Litter-Robot owner for the past 25 years, and this is a wonderful maintenance kit. It conveniently bundles the most essential items: cleaning wipes, bags for the waste drawer, carbon filters, and the OdorTrap refill packs. WHAT IS INCLUDED * 30 Cleaner Wipes (1 pack of 30) * 10 Waste Drawer Liners (2 packs of 5) * 3 OdorTrap Refill Packs (1 pack of 3) * 2 Carbon Filters (Compatible with Litter-Robot 4) PROS 1) The cleaner wipes are the perfect thing to use to wipe down the inside of the globe. The fragrance-free and ammonia-free cleaning solution breaks down the "gunk" without leaving a toxic residue like some other cleaners do. (Note: it is important to let the globe dry completely before having it cycle so the litter doesn't stick to the wet surface.) 2) The custom-fit waste liners are the perfect size and are substantive enough that I never worry about the bag breaking when I lift it out, even if the drawer is completely full. 3) The carbon filter and OdorTrap refills are the kind of things you don't really appreciate until they wear out and the room starts to smell a bit. As soon as you put the replacements in, all is right again. 4) This is a great value. It was $49.99 when I ordered it, and if you were to order all these items separately, they would cost a total of $54. CONS 1) I wish they included the same number of waste drawer bags as they do wipes. For me, it makes sense to change the bag and wipe down the inside of the globe at the same time, then put the used wipe in with the clumps of litter before sealing the bag up for disposal. 2) Similarly, I wish they had included one more set of OdorTrap refills. To me, it makes sense to change those at the exact same time as you change the carbon filter, so the quantities being slightly off is a minor frustration.

When this arrived it definitely felt like a small starter pack of supplies. The bag isn’t huge, and once I laid everything out it became clear this is more of a short term refresh than a long term restock. Inside is 30 cleaner wipes, 10 waste drawer liners, 3 OdorTrap refill packs, and 2 carbon filters. Everything fits and works properly with our Litter-Robot 4. The liners fit the drawer correctly and feel just as sturdy as the ones that come with the unit. The carbon filters slide into place easily and do help a bit with lingering smells. The OdorTrap situation is a little quirky with the LR4. On our model, the packs are meant to go into the filter pocket under the bonnet rather than just tossed loosely into the drawer. When we tried placing more than one in there at a time, our robot gave us an error and started acting like it needed to empty itself. Once we adjusted and used just one properly seated in the pocket, it worked fine and did help with odor control. The wipes are convenient for quick cleanups around the globe and drawer. They’re not overly wet and don’t leave a residue which is nice. My main hesitation is how quickly this kit would be used up. Ten liners especially go fast in our house since we have 3 cats, and with only a couple filters and a few OdorTrap packs included, it feels like a tiny restock rather than something that lasts. Everything functions well, but the quantity inside makes it feel more like a convenience bundle rather than a good value. Overall it’s useful and everything does what it’s meant to do. I just wish the supply amounts were a little more generous so it felt like a more substantial refill for the robot.

Whisker Quality Standards: These are official OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, meaning they meet the specific material and durability standards set by the manufacturer for optimal machine performance. Convenient Waste Liner Drawstrings: The waste drawer liners feature drawstrings, which makes the process of tying up and disposing of heavy waste much cleaner and more secure. We have had liner bags in the past that did not have drawstrings, these were older bags from Whisker, so they must've changed the design at some point. Either way, it makes taking the waste out to the trash much easier. Cons The Convenience Premium: You are paying for the brand and the curated bundle. Sourcing generic versions of these items individually might save money in the long run. Risk of Third-Party Alternatives: While cheaper options exist, they often come with dubious quality and aren't guaranteed to fit, which can lead to drawer jams or poor odor control.
