Universal Wind Support Pole Leg for Retractable Patio Awning

USUALLY DO NOT WRITE REVIEWS BUT THIS IS THE BEST DECISION I MADE TO INSTALL THIS SUPPORTS THEY WHERE EASY TO INSTALL TOOK ME ABOUT TWO HOURS. AND ACTUALLY THEIR PEOPLE CONTACT ME TO MAKE SURE THEY WHERE SENDING ME THE CORRECT ADAPTERS JUST TO MAKE SURE, NOW MY FAMILY ENJOY OUR DECK RAIN OR SHINE VERY STURDY GREAT BUY, GREAT COMPANY

My only complaint and its a small one. They used different size allen head bolts. I believe they could have engineered this small complaint away easily. These braces did make it possible to keep our awning out in heavier breezes.

We love our brace. We no longer worry about the awning when a breeze blows through because of the support the awning braces provide. It feels as though we have a covered porch.

May 2024: I give this 7 stars and desperately need two (2) more. I purchased these before and it is the ONLY ONE OF ITS KIND ON THE MARKET. You will NOT find these anywhere else. Believe me, I have searched far and wide. Now I understand it is not available. Please say it isn't so. Where is that wonderful owner John? Please can someone -- ANYONE respond back to me how I can buy two more? Please, please can anyone help me? Amazon, Stop saying they are unavailable and that you don't know if or when it will be available again. If I can't get two more of these, I will have wasted $3K on a retractable awning that can't be used. IS ANYONE LISTENING? CAN SOMEONE ASSIST ME?

Product arrive in great condition. The packaging was the best I have seen. wood strips bundled with the poles kept it from damage during shipping.I attached my poles on the outside of the railing, this way they are plumb in both directions. I had to move my left pole in to clear the steps leading off my deck. This is not a problem and works great. All I have to do is remove the clevis pins at the top, twist the poles to remove and crank my awning up when not in use or bad weather. The owner of the company also called me when I placed my order to ensure I ordered the correct color and installation. I am glad he did, I ordered white, but my awning frame is cream.Thanks John, excellent customer service.Cutting poles were not an issue for the correct height. We live on a side hill and the wind is always blowing. We hardly ever used the awning because it shook. The poles were easy to install and now the awning doesn't move in the wind. Just what I needed.

You get two poles sets per order. That's not really that clear.We use it to stabilize 14' x 16' wide Sunsetter retractable awning from winds up to 5-10 MPH.You must. I repeat you must, take wind motion sensor off the awning but keep it close by so system won't keep checking for it. Put it some place where no one can pick it up a shake it. Motion sensor will start retracting the awing and rip everything apart.Also, the awning will start retracting if it does not detect the sensor close by. This could rip everything apart or something out.Updated 07-03-23: Was pretty easy to attach to awning and to our patio retaining wall with concrete anchors. Really keeps awning safe and stable for winds or wind gusts 10-12 MPG. Worth the money and effort. Now we are able enjoy our awing more often.
