This is extremely bare-bones, no frills, straight-forward. Shipping got this to me within 24 hours (amazing) and the flashlight itself is constructed from a chromed plastic. Without a (self-provided) AA battery, the whole thing is surprisingly light. The package came with no instructions, branding or other materials — just the light itself.The switch has two stages. Click it forward halfway and you get just a bright red laser. Click it all the way forward and you get a nice cool white light, with a very tiny spread (maybe about a foot in diameter when held about five feet away from any surface). The switch itself seems to wobble ever so slightly on the light setting, so if the light is on (not the laser) and you fidget with the button, the light will flicker a bit.For four bucks, you really can’t get any better than this. Definitely not built for rugged conditions, but nice to have in a pinch.

I use the laser to play with my dog, and she loves it. The flash light also seems to work well. We've had it for a few weeks and experienced not problems.
