Well organized, sturdy, many uses.

I've spent several months looking for a replacement organizer for this new year. But I had no luck. All my local stores no longer carried this particular organizer. I finally decided to dig for it on Amazon, and I hit paydirt! This Globe-Weis/Pendaflex Globe Weis 19-Pocket File Express Case is an excellent size. It has just enough pockets for basic-bill filing. It's legal-size so that it can hold longer bills/invoices, no problem. This case is well made and very sturdy! It has a better handle on it than my last year's model! The pockets seem to be a thicker card stock material than last year's model. This case is small enough to put in a corner and not trip over. It is not necessarily stackable, but are sufficiently compact to store side-by-side. I recommend this product for most household filing. These filing cases do expand, but they do have their limit to how far you can stretch them. Therefore, these cases may not work as efficiently for business filing. I do own my business, which is small, and these cases work well for me. However, if you have more than a household's worth of filing to do, you may want to consider a banker box.

We've been looking for a replacement for our previous multi-pocket file box and this one comes close. We chose it based on other reviews and the fact that we couldn't find a true replacement elsewhere. The paper material for the pockets seems thinner and maybe not as durable as the older "manila-type consistency" - time will tell. We tend to overstuff the old one with annual paper receipts/statements to the point that we cannot close it with the latch -- not sure we will even attempt that with this new one. The quality overall is ok. They just don't make things the way they used to. This one is priced similarly to our local office supply store. We did not care about the outer color, but did receive blue as in the picture/description.

I have 10 Globe-Weis 11169 expanding file folders like these that have served me well for 15 years or more. I see it's now Pendaflex-Globe-Weis 11170. I ordered four of these to organize my sister's scattered tax records and found them to be near-unuseable, because some ambitious MORON bean counter ordered a MORON designer to save a few pennies in material going from the old to the new part number. The result is that the dividers are shorter or the bottom is higher, so that the filed papers now obscure the divider labels and it's a real pain to find the right divider to file or retrieve anything. The line on the paper sticking up in the pic is the depth of my old 11169 folders, and you can see the label hidden by the filed paper just in front.

Purchased the C-Line case but it was way too flimsy for my needs. Exchanged for this item, which is much sturdier and if perfect for my heavier use.

As far as color goes, I received mine in forest green. I didn’t mind a random color. It works perfectly for what I need it for and is replacing the one I’ve had for over 20 years by the same brand. I don’t use this daily. It basically stores my important documents for quick access as I need them.

We are getting the kids papers (medical, banking, etc...) in order and this file folder is perfect. Each kid has one so they can take it when they eventually move out. Hopefully. Eventually.

I have had these in the past and found them to be sturdy A great organizing tool. However one item had the clasp broken so it can’t be secured shut. Otherwise good

This arrived quickly but the little twisty button that closes the lid on it was missing the twisty part. Not in the box, not in the file folder. It’s like it was never installed at the factory. Otherwise I suppose it’s about the quality you would expect for the price. It will serve my purposes. On the upside, it was easy enough to return. I just printed the label and dropped it off at Purolator. It did come with labels for all the folder sections. I thought they would have been pre attached but you can stick them on yourself and organize it the way you wish. I ordered a replacement because it was the right size and style for me.
