The Practice of Godliness Paperback – June 1, 2016

Excellent book, read this with my Wednesday night men’s group and this one really hit a chord with me. I’ve read all sorts of self help books before but not too many ever clicked like this one. The idea of replacing the lies with gods truth and creating trenches in your mind in place of the ruts caused by lies is just great. Highly recommended! God is so good!

Another great book to help with living out scripture. Such a great reminder of staying focused on Christ and not self . Running the race in love so that all people see the love of Christ in our lives .

Very well written and concise as well as Jerry Bridges book , Pursuit of Holiness.Both books brought spiritual insights needed for study of scripture.

I decided to go through this book with a friend after first reading The Pursuit of Holiness. Bridges uses a lot of scripture in the book and I really like the study guide he provides. This makes for a great book study to do with a friend (or group of people)

The reading and the Study afterwards, on how you align yourself with the word. To continue to search within yourself to find and to ask God to correct that in which is not of Him. Trust in the Lord Jesus in God in all things even in the little. And remember to pray seeking Him always.

We are reading this book as a group in our church. It has been so eye opening. Especially during this time of quarantine when life seems so confused and challenging. The author invites the reader to open my Bible and search gods word relating scripture to my life. The discussion questions were a good tool for discussion with our Bible family group. Highly recommended.
