This is a good quality item that installs easily if your previous basket has the same depth dimension. Hopefully the finish on the metal portions do not rust and are able to handle the onslaught of water soap and whatever else goes down the drain. The ones that came with my double sink began showing signs of rust after 5 years.

Love them so far! The basket is so nice to catch stuff from going down the drain. Easy to clean! Would definitely recommend.

I removed my garbage disposal so this works great. Unfortunately the 1st one had a leak under the plastic threads. Amazon made the exchange easy and the fortunately the 2nd one hasn't leaked.

Full transparency: I haven't installed it yet but I don't see any reason why it won't be perfect for me needs. It is really nice quality. I purchased one previously that was crap - almost plastic. This one is actually metal and feels solid and well made. I'm using it for a dog bath station I'm building so needed that larger basket. Thickness was perfect and already tested on throw away piece of wood and it had a solid seal. Two paws up!
