Fat Flush: A pathway to improved health as the best way to lose weight.
A good slogan is Fat Flush or Die, to characterize the importance of this diet and overall health book.From the New Fat Flush Foods book: "I dare say that clean, organic, and non-GMO foods are way beyond just a path to successful weight loss. In this day and age, the food, spices, and supplements you choose can be absolutely life-changing. They can also make the difference between life and death." pl. 1The new Fat Flush Plan book and this stand alone New Fat Flush Foods book are great read together or apart. The Foods book identifies all the powerhouse Fat Flush foods identified as best for losing weight, detoxifying the body, and improving overall health -- all at the same time -- and, is full of information all throughout about the role of each food item in fulfilling those goals -- and some of the most important information for me is just interspersed in the middle of various descriptions of foods and what they do for us. This Foods book is on its own a great resource for the health conscious reader and is a perfect companion to the New Fat Flush Plan book which contains an almost encyclopedic explication of the fundamental and basic information necessary to deal with whole body and organ systems upon which our human health depend -- as the foundation upon which to build a weight loss program and improved life style to maintain a healthy weight, cardiovascular, enzyme and hormone systems, and even grow the right kinds of bacterium in the intestinal and digestive system It is a knock down great book and now, I already look forward to the next iteration of a New New Fat Flush Plan. LOL. For example there are all these nuggets of real insight and information throughout the text, in both books, serving as just little pieces of the much larger outline and subject matter organization and text -- From the New Fat Flush Plan:"The Fat Flush Plan has a rather basic and clear-cut mission: to increase metabolism, flush out bloat, speed up fat loss, and decrease inflammation throughout the body. At the core of the plan is the commitment to promote a balanced lifestyle and champion the simple healthy habits that we all overlook or forget about as a result of everyday life. Every aspect of each phase of the plan is targeted like a guided missile to accomplish this goal ..." at p. 81 in the Introductory section of the Chapter giving an overview of the whole program "The Fat Flush Plan: As Easy as 1-2-3."In that short statement is a repudiation of the gross, totally unhealthy "everyday" diet of the American public, an inherent repulsion from that degradation of our health from bad habits that are forever and always being reinforced by advertising and that lifestyle -- giving us cardio-vascular disease, diabetes, strokes, effective malnutrition, deficiencies of all kinds and obesity of epidemic proportions. And people thought cigarette smoking was bad. And, at the same time a solution is proposed and advocated in that simple paragraph -- follow our plan, it is a pathway out of the American food jungle and culinary nightmare. The main reason all the chef programs and food shows are not good to watch or follow is that nobody really cares about fats, sugars, carbohydrate poisoning in our food culture -- or rarely do they show any concern. Butter is ubiquitous, as are all manner of bad fats, bad flours, sugar and salt in everything "as necessary." So this book is really great and I recommend it as a gift to any friend or family member who has heart, blood, insulin, diabetic, stroke, obesity, or other human health issues. I guess posting here is sort of my journaling, only it is here and is more like preaching to the choir, to show how much this Fat Flush Plan is guiding me to better health and a healthy overall weight and fat to muscle ratio. I get nothing out of any purchases anyone makes, except the good feeling and karma (if one believes in karma, from helping other people find the information to help them get out of the mess that is the American food world and diet at this time) if they buy after reading from whatever I post anywhere.I wrote the following to describe how much I enjoyed reading this book, when telling a friend who is overweight about it --"The 70 or so really great powerhouse foods identified by Ann Gittleman are all set out in the New Fat Flush Foods book. I am enjoying reading it like I would normally enjoy reading a good mystery. LOL. The mystery of how to get healthy and lose weight."

This book is a must for anyone who wants to lose weight, keep it off, and preserve good health. I followed the New Fat Flush in order to fight diabetes and high cholesterol, and within 8 weeks, I no longer had diabetes or high cholesterol. It is the only diet for me.

Good Resource
Good resource but don't feel it was worth the money

An excellent, well researched book on the nutrition you need for overall health and weight loss.
As a companion to the other Fat Flush books, you will find a few pages of detailed information on the most useful foods, herbs and supplements. I refer to this book all the time to remind myself what medicinal properties our foods have.
