After my Mobius 1 took a tragic fall, I looked at the new line of Mobius cameras. The Mini has some good features, but watching youtube videos of side by side comparisons, the Mobius 1 was still better. Another youtube video from a Brit sold me on the Mobius 2. I purchased 2 of them and they are both awesome. According to my research the programmer who wrote the firmware/patch for Mobius 1 for MAC isn't doing that with Mobius 2. So if you want to configure on a Mac, you might be outta luck. Check the RC groups - those guys are really helpful. My solution was to adjust all the settings on a PC but I'm running it off a Mac. I never change the settings once they are established anyway, so it was no big for me to use a friend's PC. It was very easy to set it up and I have a very low threshold for technology. I did have one snafu, my computer couldn't play the MP4 files I generated. Another trip to a techy friend and an upgrade to my QuickTime player and all is well. I think the audio quality is good. Even whispering, the camera picks up the sound. I'm pleased with the colors. My purple shirt was slightly more blue (I was shooting in sunlight with no lighting equipment or bounce boards etc.) but still extremely rich in color. My lipstick and hair color and the green screen behind me were in perfect color sync. This little guy has a great battery life. I charge it and shoot and forget about for days and it keeps chugging along. The Mobius has specific light sequences that tell you that you are recording or that it doesn't like the memory card. The main issue with the Mobius 1 is how picky it is with memory cards. I bought a Kingston 8mb micro SD cards for the Mobius 1 and it was happy. The Mobius 2 likes them as well. My advice, buy a bunch so you always have a clean card. A note about the card eject - that thing will fly outta the camera at warp speed and I have lost a card that way. You can either very gently push in the card so it will eject slowly or put it in a bag and eject it so you know it is safe. The Mobius 1 has its buttons on the top which I really liked. Now they are on the side, so I have to turn it on while holding it, then set it down to shoot. Not that big of a deal. I bought two Mobius 2 cameras so I can shoot from two angles at once. They are both in perfect working order. I couldn't be happier. It is everything I want in a camera. It is so tiny I can tape it to a wall to get the shot. Holding it in my hand people don't notice what it is right away so no one gets camera shy. It doesn't have a monitor, so with the Mobisus 1, I plug in the usb and run Photo Booth to make sure I like the framing, then I will disconnect the computer and shoot. I haven't gotten that to work on the Mobius 2 yet. I love how light it is. I love the shape. It fits perfectly in my hand. It can be a little slippery so make sure you have a firm hold. My Mobius 1 survived a fall into a swamp and didn't die until it took two bad falls. I think these babies are sturdy. When I see it, it makes me happy. Other cameras made me sigh at the hassle they present every time I want to use it. To me, this is the perfect camera.

Mixed feelings.
Replaced the first one because of hot spots(bright) on the sensor. Got a quick replacement with more spots which are visible against dark/slightly dark backgrounds. The tripod attachment is kind of thin and because of that it may not fit tightly with some mounts. Also, the tiny screws used for tightening it bottoms out because of deep counter sunk holes and could cause the tripod mount to be loose.I wish there was an attachment like the previous one used for Mobius 1. Image quality is good with less noise/blotchy image at night(except for the spots mentioned earlier).

A great upgrade from my original
A great upgrade from my original. I use in on the top of my 'Big stick 60 RC airplane and it takes great video. No jello effect like mobius1. Don't know what else to say except it is fantastic. I process the video using sony 12 and also capture photos right from the time line. Amazing video with all the vibration coming from my 65 engine. Be sure you buy a certified camera like this one.

Dont Do it
I really like the idea and tried to make it work. Bought the capacitor and mag mount. The problem is that it is a total pain to try and replay a video, especially if you need to do so at an accident, etc. The more important reason is that it just does not work very well . Very glitchy, always needed to be reset then finally stopped all together. Too many others out there that are better.
