Bahco625-PEAR Pear-Shape Scraper Blade

I love the shape of this particular scraper blade. I've got a 75 year old house and this blade is very useful removing paint from grooves and concave surfaces on molding. It seems expensive, and it is, but it holds its edge and its small size makes it easy to control.

I use these for when i make my own wood turning tools. they are sharp and work great, and they are way cheaper than buying the cutters used by the bigger name brand tool makers. The only drawback is they are thinner so you cant really counter sink the bolt head all the way... but thats not a deal breaker because you dont cut with the top of this blade anways! lol

My wife and I restore antiques as a hobby. We use the Bahco 1" and 2 1/2" scrapers and they have been great for us. We recently had a need and decided to try the curved/drop shaped scraper blade. We have only used it on one dresser so far, but it seems to be holding up and working well.My only complaint and the reason I took one star off was because the image for the tool is misleading. I don't know why it shows a round scraper and a second scraper blade. This is only one scraper blade. The description and other reviews stated this, but it was a bit of an impulse purchase when ordering some other supplies so we didn't catch that.

needed to clean old trim profiles prior to refinishing.

Used the large section of the blade on wood house trim. The large section is just a tad smaller than the grooves I need to clean but it still is able to scarp off years of paint with a little elbow grease. Even though it is little smaller than what I need, still gave it 5 start because of the ability to cut though the dried paint and also maintain a sharp edge.

Disappointed that I thought I was getting three. Only got the pear shaped one. It's in the description but why a picture of the ones you don't get? A bit deceptive. Not sure I would have paid the cost for just one blade. Quality blade though.

Picture and description make it seem that you will receive all 3 blades. You do NOT. Would not have purchased if I realized this

Blade only, you need to buy the handle separately. Very sharp; much sharper than the steel scrapers I was trying to use. The handle comes with the triangular blade, which is good for scraping flat areas and getting into narrow corners. I also bought the pear shape and despite this being a great blade I would recommend the pear shape instead. The pointed end of the tear is the same as the pointed end of the triangle and the rounded end of the tear is the same as the large rounded end of the pear, but the pear also has a small rounded end as well. The pear is also $3 cheaper right now.

I have learned that buying the best tools you can afford is the best way to achieve quality work with the least amount of time.

Attention il n’y a pas 3 lames à vendre mais une seule, la photo d’accroche montrant 3 lames est mensongère. Du coup 20€ une seule lame c’est chere!
