Has anyone actually purchased this item and reviewed it? not just a bunch of vine "reviewers"? which i'm sorry to say, i don't trust at all.

As a FORMER Vine member and someone who ACTUALLY PAID for this product and use it on a daily basis, I give it 5 of 5 stars. While I slightly prefer the feel of the PS3 official remote, this one for the PS4 works great, the battery life has been fine, and I use it on an almost daily basis for streaming movies and shows. Much much much better than using the PS4 controller, and is well worth the price.

will this stay connected or will it automatically turn off like the older remote?

Because this works thru Bluetooth it will turn off eventually. You wouldn't want it to stay on all the time as Bluetooth takes way more power than IR

Will this remote power on or wake the system from sleep mode?

I am also having trouble waking my system up. Is anyone else having trouble with this function? Thanks.
