Lovely dye!
Love! I found a pair of grey uggs for cheap at goodwill that I decided to try this on and it applied beautifully. I will need to buy another bottle for a second coat, one bottle was barely enough for one coat on both boots. The suede soaked the dye up greedily and thus I went through the dye quicker than expected. I didn't notice any odor or fumes from the dye so that was nice. Quality of the dye seems great, is a little darker purple than I expected but I started with a darker suede so that makes sense. After one coat it is a little patchy but I am hopeful it'll even out once I am able to get another coat on. I brushed the boots before and after dying and I'm very happy with the results thus far. Will update my review once I apply a second coat. I'm including before and after photos.

The most BEAUTIFUL cobalt blue
This dye breathed new life into an old pair of adidas gazelles. They were originally a nice royal blue suede but over the last 3 years they have faded into a dull gray. This product completely restored them to the most brilliant blue - better than the original. This is the blue of my DREAMS. Yes, the dye is runny - because it’s dye, not paint. If you’ve ever used an aquarelle kit, this is the same watery consistency. Gorgeous color payoff after one coat, but I followed directions and did two. The shoes looked nearly black after application but dried down to the most brilliant, beautiful cobalt blue. The toes ended up slightly darker because they were kind of dark and dirty to begin with but I’m not mad about it as I didn’t take the time to deep clean them beforehand (I did go over them with an eraser and brush out the nap though). A word of caution: THIS STUFF WILL STAIN. Despite using painters tape on the bits I didn’t want to turn blue, I ended up getting a fair amount of drips on the white stripes and the soles. I was able to soak some bits of paper napkins in bleach (scrubbing bubbles foaming bleach, to be exact) squeeze out the excess and press them onto the stains like plaster. After they dried, I peeled them off and the stains were gone. I had to repeat this on a couple of really dark stains but in the end they all came out. The foaming bleach also took out the blue stains in my white sink after I stupidly tried to rinse out the little wool applicator and inadvertently turned my sink blue. So, bleach does work on non-porous and semi-porous surfaces. However, if you drip this on clothes I don’t think any amount of bleach will save you. All in all - EXCELLENT product when used correctly. 10/10 Highly recommend.

It Works Well!
I purchased a beautiful pair of almond colored suede shoes. Since they were suede, I knew I needed to spray some weather protectant on them; which I did, but apparently not enough, because I ended up with a grease stain on one of the shoes that I was unable to clean off in my efforts to clean it. I probably rubbed too hard and thought I had completely ruined these shoes. I was able to see them with Angelus Suede Dye & Dressing! The deep, rich black color is very nice, and helps me not be overly concerned about getting stains on the shoes, like I was when they had the very light beige/almond color. I would’ve paid in the neighborhood of $50 to have a shoe repair store dye them for me. I just took my time and made sure that I didn’t miss any spots. I am glad I purchased two bottles instead of just one. It takes more than one coding to get the proper coverage, especially when dealing with suede.I wear a men’s size 9 and used probably 75% of the bottle on one shoe. I also dyed the shoe strings. I will be able to pair my now black suede shoes with more outfits then the beige. I would definitely buy this product again.

Revived my favorite shoes!
This product isn't perfect, and I can't say that I was very optimistic but overall I'm pleasantly surprised. These are my favorite shoes and Ive worn them at least once a week for the past 3 or 4 years. Being in quarantine and needing something to do, I decided to give them a wash. They looked pretty nice and clean when I scrubbed them down but when they dried...disaster. They looked like old man shoes. So I skimmed the internet for solutions. I know yellow suede is pretty hard to revive, and I watched a couple of videos of this product on YouTube but they were all for red or black suede, so I was nervous as to whether r not this product would bring my yellow kicks back to life. When the product arrived, the box said "leather dye" which upset me and I was ready to send it back, but thank goodness I actually looked at the product and it sure enough said suede on the bottle (weird packaging mishap I guess). The product also comes with a round fluffy "brush" (really its like a cottonball on wire) but I used a small paint brush instead. Much easier to control the product. I also only did one coat and I still have a little more than half left in the bottle. The first pick is the product, the second is the before, the third is one dyed shoe compared to the untreated shoe, and the last is the final results. Pros: - Will bring the color back - great for the price - pretty easy to use Cons: - Color may not be exact (but to each is own) - Consistency is super loose and liquidy - Leaves shoes a bit rougher than suede It's not perfect, some parts are a bit darker than others due to the liquid consistency overlapping parts you've already dyed, but all in all, I'm happy with the results and happy I done have too throw my shoes away!

Wish I had more stars to give!
One thousand out of ten. It was the trash or a refresh. The refresh wins! Color is a little darker than I had imagined but it doesn’t matter in my case. Just keep that in mind. Perfect for salvaging items with no hope.

Cap not on correctly leaked all over the package
Big user of Angelus products, however this purchase was a miss based on the fact that the cap was not on the bottle correctly. A good quarter of the product leaked over the inside of the shipping box. Luckily nothing else was shipped with this item and I opened the box in a part of my house where it was easy to clean up the resulting mess. It is in such awful shape that I'm not sure that an Amazon shipping partner would accepted it for a return.

Great dye!
This dye is very easy to use and goes on smoothly. I applied two coats to the sandals. I had bought some sandals in a dusty pink color, but I wanted them to be brown. I figured I can just dye the sandals since they’re not sold in the color brown. The dye left my sandals a very nice color. The dye I used was the light brown one.

Great shoe dye
I am pleased with the results taking camel shoes to dark brown. Because of reviews saying it was not enough dye, I did use a short/stiff watercolor brush & it worked great with dye left!! Happy to see something made in USA!!

Easy to use, restores decoloured suede brilliantly
My light grey suede trainers had been ruined in the mud, and the colour was terrible after I cleaned them. With this suede colour I made them look as good as new! I used a small paint brush for fiddly bits like around the shoelace holes and a bigger brush for the rest. Super easy to use. Highly recommended.

Winetone-perfect red wine/burgundy colour
Winetone. This was great, I’m sure 1 bottle was fine for 1 pair of large shoes (a bit left over) but i ordered another bottle and did 2 coats because the shoes were very light in colour to begin with, very pleased with result. Perfect red wine/ burgundy colour
