Good replacement for older LEDs
Bought to replace older LED bulbs in ceiling cans. These are daylight color temp and much brighter than the ones they replaced. They dim very well with no flickering. Very light weight compared to the old ones. Almost no heat either. Technology seems to have changed the better in recent years. Very good value if they last.

2 out of 4 bulbs are dead after less than 2 years used. Barely used 4 -5 hours a day. Longevity and quality control of LED bulbs is bad

so they fit nicely inside of recessed outlets and the light angle is ...
I got a box of these (4 bulbs) about a week ago. The bulbs are about 3.5 inches, so they fit nicely inside of recessed outlets and the light angle is pretty good. I bought them because I needed one of them to replace the bottom bulb in chandelier. After seeing the light it put off, I decided to replace another recessed bulb and now I'm doing it for all the recessed lights in my house.I think this deserves a 4.5 star rating or better, and I've rounded up to 5 rather than down to four because I've already bought a second set. The only issue I had was the presence of a little black speck inside one of the four bulbs. To demonstrate, I'm uploading four photos. One is of the path to the garage door showing the results of installing the bulb. In my opinion, it the light looks warmer to the human eye and it isn't near as blinding as it looks in the photo. The other 3 photos show the black spec moving around after a little gentle shaking. I took all 3 pictures without releasing the bulb, so you can tell the spec moved around from the changes in the angle of my wrist. I don't know if a tiny bug or piece of paint. I'm assuming it is a rare event. My wife likes them also. I did a "blind test" asking her which sockets she preferred and she picked out the two with these lights.Update: The second batch arrived and all look perfect. Keeping the 5 star rating.

A Great LED Replacement for BR20 Bulbs
I am using these LED BR20 equivalent bulbs in recessed fixtures. They throw a noticeably brighter light than the 60 W incandescents that these replaced. They work well with the combination switch/slide dimmer that I installed about 14 years ago. I did note though, if you mix these LED's with incandescents on the same dimmer circuit, the LED bulbs do not dim properly, hence if you care about dimming, replace all of the bulbs on the dimmer circuit. Not sure why anyone would mix-and-match but just in case. These bulbs dimmed quite nicely down to very romantic light levels. The color rendition index (CRI) appeared to be quite uniform all the way down to the lowest dimming level.

They don't last
These bulbs are advertised as lasting 22 years in normal use. However, as others have noticed, they don't last more than one or two years at most. They also have flickering problems at full illumination (even though they are advertised as being dimmable). Poor product. Try another manufacturer.

Low quality
In less then 2 month 1 bulb out of 6 started flickering and then completely went off

Works just like a real lightbulb
OK! So it is a real light bulb.Excellent little product; good value, quick shipping, and they work very well on a dimmer. As a bonus, they use considerably less power than the incandescent lamps we replaced.Yes, I will buy more of these if the need arises.

Work like a charm
I am slowly switching from traditional light bulbs to LED to save some money. These bulbs do not produce a buzzing or humming sound that other LEDs make. There is no flickering with these bulbs. The light they emit is equivalent to the bulbs they replaced, and they have a soft glow to them. I also noticed that they do not get as hot as the traditional bulbs they replaced. They were a great price, and I am looking forward to saving on my energy costs.

Good quality for price.
Had the brightness I wanted in an R20 LED bulb. Was very disappointed when I went to order another couple of boxes and found I can no longer get them under Amazon Prime and have to pay shipping. These are the only 50W R20 LED bulbs you sell with 600 lumens brightness and in warm white.
