VISM by NcStar PVC First Responders Utility Bag

I decided to invest in quite a bit of time and effort in "prepping" items and this purchase was the result of many comparisons, days of reading and browsing, and a couple hours on youtube watching reviews of bags of this type and size. I am impressed with the quality of build overall, and I have tested this bag in many ways including swinging it around by one zipper (all the zippers had a turn), throwing across the room and catching it by whatever I can grab, and many more practical situations like fully loaded integrity, balance while wearing, comfort of shoulder strap, strength of plastic locking mechanisms, and fit of gear that will be carried. All of these tests passed without showing weakness once. NOW! There is an elastic cord that is on the upper portion of the front of the bag kept in place by nylon/codura or similar material that the cord is threaded through to provide a web of elastic cordage to store anything that you see to putting there. It is a hoop no bigger than the width of a common mans fingernail and doubled over to provide a retention channel for the elastic cord. WELL, after poking around like a 15 year old boy, I noticed that when I stressed these particular nylon retention loops that they easily came un-done and apart from the bag. This was not obvious to notice, but it was clearly going to happen as soon as they were stressed by a load under the elastic band. NONE THE LESS, I re-routed the elastic band in-and-around the remaining loops, continued it under the Velcro directly under the elastic and made it perfect without notice of any mishap. Returned to 100% satisfaction. This bag cannot be beat for the price, it comes with 15 dollars of magazine pouches that double as great flashlight holders, tool keepers, knife keepers, or the endless list of items that fit in a similar sized pouch/pocket. I also found a way to snake the shoulder strap through the bottom molle straps and by golly wouldn't you know its a backpack that fits perfect on a 4-7 year old's back! I can even slip it on as a back-pack and I am a healthy stallion, a 6 foot pillar of pure America (minus the mcdonalds and wal-mart). I MOLLE'd a magazine pouch (included) on one of the upper portions of the "V" and MOLLE'd a radio pouch (not included, sold by condor) on the other part of the "V" harness that the shoulder strap connects to- and this added functionality and service quality to this bag that would be real, real hard to match for the price. Like I said it comes with 15 dollars of mag pouches leaving this awesome bag alone at less than 15 dollars. THIS BAG WILL NOT FIT medium to large school books, 8 1/2" by 11" notebooks, or note pads of similar size, it is NOT a file keeper, this is an awesome piece of mobile containment gear for the individual with kids to take care of, the traveling individual, or the Constitutional Patriot who needs a separate bag for being the American the government doesn't want you to be. I don't normally write reviews, but after getting this, I felt obligated to do so...I got this bag as my "Get Home Bag". You see a lot of people talking about "Bug Out Bags", but in all seriousness, your best chance of survival is to get home and hunker down, not hike out into the woods and live off the land. And since we spend 40-60 hours at work each week, it makes sense to have something in the car for "just in case". Also, since I live in Florida, this doubles as an emergency bag for any potential hurricanes.Anyway, this bag, for the price, is top notch. Excellent quality with lots of compartments. They were, to put it nicely, junk. I bought a  Condor MA51 Double Kangaroo Magazine Pouch holds (2) M4/M16 Mag, (2) Pistol Mag  that holds 2 extra mags of .40 cal ammo and 2 mags of 5.56mm ammo. I realize some people may look at this and say, "what's with all the guns and ammo?". Well, after the craziness in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, I am taking NO chances.Anyway, this bag is fantastic and barely takes up any room in my trunk. When totally full, it takes up as much space as a case of beer, so it fits perfect in the trunk of my car. For 20 bucks, this bag just CAN NOT be beat.
