This knife is surprisingly sharp. I used it to cut a large corn on the cob into bite sized pieces with little effort. It’s strong and durable. A time saver and a great buy.

It's sharp, light, and firm to hold. 'prepared a meal for 10 using only only this knife and a peeler. It cut meat and veggies with ease.Then did a paper slice test (shredding recipe evidence) and it still cut straight trhough with just a slight swing. The finish is clean and smooth, quality crafted considering the price. For $5 don't ask for a sheath.

Blade can be very sharp but edge retention is not good so dulls very quickly but what can you expect for that price.

i like this knife,it is very sharp.i have only cut a couple of items because i just got it but it slices right through the things i've used it for.not flimsy and a nice handle.very satisfied.

Knife has a 'modern' sculpted look; blade seems stainless steel and is sharp. Blade and top of handle make one piece, no 'tang' to loosen from handle. Bottom of handle seems smooth, rounded molded plastic with no visible seam between steel and plastic of handle. My only quibble is I felt the rounded handle gave me less control of the cutting angle compared with the more rectangular (with rounded edges) wooden handle of my Old Hickory chef's knife. This may be a personal preference based on long familiarity of my old wood handled, non-stainless chef's knife. I still think the price makes this knife a good value. It looks good too.

Didn't expect much for the price but I just needed an extra knife and decided to try this based on the reviews. Really pleasantly surprised, well balanced, not flimsy and very sharp. Liked it so well bought another one.
