The Jim Corbett Omnibus (Volume 2)

This collection contains more of Jim Corbett’s history growing up in India- the final story takes place in Kenya, after he and his sister moved there after India’s independence. Tree-tops recalls the time when princess Elizabeth was staying there. She arrived as princess of England and left as Queen of England. The first two stories focus on life in India and the people Jim Corbett knew.

I read most of the Jim Corbet stories between 13 and 16 and now at 71 they are just as thrilling and beautiful.

People, except a few eclectic folks, most have forgotten about or even never heard of Jim Corbett. Read his stuff.

Any Jim Corbett book would get 5 stars from me. But since this is a collection of many books at very reasonable price - this doubly does so. This isn't the first time I have read these books, they never lose their charm and grace.

An insightful book on Jim Corbett's life in India

1. The actual MRP of this product is Rs. 295 whereas the price mentioned on the app is Rs. 855, almost 3 times the actual MRP!2. The MRP mentioned on the back cover of the product has been digitally morphed to erase the printed MRP in the picture of the back cover of the book on the app. You can confirm what I'm saying by comparing the picture I provided to the picture on the app.3. When I contacted the customer care, they refused to do anything about it other than rectifying the MRP mentioned on the app. They kept saying that whatever took place is perfectly okay as the price charged for the price is lower than the MRP.So much for trusting Amazon.in!

Super reading pleasureThe language is so simple and very good and authentic descriptions of life in pahadi dehath India, he's been there and done that really gutsy guy to get Close up to predators many times and lived to tell the tale .Excellent reading

This book doesn't have the illustrations from original book & some weird editing. Seems like parts of story are missing in places.
