Angle guide works great, belts hold up well !! Good deal !!

Made of substantial stock, nicely plated. Positions from 45º to 10º. Makes sharpening a kitchen or dining room full of cleavers to thin filleting knives fast and precise. Finish with a few strokes on a good steel made of carbon steel. Perhaps not for the purists (the penalty for purity are purists).

Super little guide, easy to install, very accurate

It only worked on my wide knife (chef knife). Otherwise there's not enough surface to surface contact with the guide to maintain the constant angle. Might work better if it was Magnetic. Perhaps the upward facing model is easier to maintain surface to surface contact. ... Recommend starting (practicing) with high grit belt. I started with low (rough) grit & really put a gauge in a nice knife (because I couldn't keep the angle steady).

The angle was on the wrong side the angles etdown in stead of up can you send me the right one

This kid is a great addition to a harbor freight one by 30 belt grinder if you do any amount of knife sharpening or grinding with it.

Belts fit little too tight even with adjustment loose as possible.
