Nighttime Fairies: A Bedtime Shadow Book

I kinds agree with the other review regarding the quality of project, however i have not seen a kids projector toy do much better for more money. Ours is being projected about 12 feet and my 5yo daughter loves it. I also bought two others for my niece and nephew while they were here on a recent trip and they LOVED it every night and a month later they are still taking it to bed to relax too, their beds are against the wall so they don't shine it very far. The age group I bought these for was 4, 5 & 6 and my 3 year old wants one too. The construction of the book seems very well made and sturdy so you don't have to work to support the page with any extra effort. The story is sweet. Bought Up Up and Away for the boy, not sure what that story was do not read it. I think this is a great item for any kid who likes a little quite time before bed, is afraid of the dark, like to read etc. You might was to play around with the different flashlights to see what works best for your projecting situation. My daughter prefers a very bright LED which is great so it will not get hot should she fall asleep with the light on. I plan to give this as gifts to others for birthdays, etc.

Just not what I was expecting. Love the idea. My lo loves playing with flashlights. This just seemed more goth than kiddie art. It was cool but just not our thing. Donated to local library

Our 3 year old and 4 year old girls love these books. The projections aren't very clear, and we tend to project the image on the wall rather than the ceiling to get a clearer image. We find it works best to point the flashlight at the words on the page, right below the projection area.Our two girls are afraid of the dark, and this helps them to transition to going to bed because you have to turn off the lights to see the images! Overall, the kids love them and that's what matters.

Oh my goodness!!! I will definitely be ordering more. I love reading this to my granddaughter (2.5) at bedtime. The illuminated, illustrations are beautiful!!! Works best when I use my phone's "flashlight" to illuminate.

My daughter loves these books. The stories are short but she has a great time holding the light and trying to touch the shadows on the wall

I love this book too! I wasn't sure the pictures were going to shine through clear enough but they DO! Kids LOVE flashlights and seeing the pictures on the wall is a really cool and unique way to read that bedtime story. Don't be surprised if you end up reading THIS one again and again and again!

The kids LOVED these books! A simple flashlight shines the images perfectly on the wall. The only challenge is trying to read the books in the dark. ;) Great idea and well executed by the book-maker!
