These guides are very sturdy and low profile. Perfect for those of us who prefer not having a guide that protrudes too far into walking areas. The installation is quick and easy, practically intuitive. I imagine these are suitable for a number of applications given their size.A little trick for those who have 1/4 round next to their baseboard (and don't care to notch it) is to place nylon spacers between the back of the bracket and the wall. I used two 1/2" O.D. x 3/8" I.D. spacers per bracket to secure to the wall. No notching is required and it is very stable. Place the bracket next to the 1/4 round and measure the distance from the back of the bracket to the wall. That will be the spacer length you need. They sell spacers in a number of lengths and diameters. Buy the spacer that works best for your application and measurements. You can find them at any local or big-box hardware store, or right here on Amazon. Just make sure you get ones that are suitable for use with bolts/screws. I used one per screw, but stacking is perfectly fine if that's what you need to do to get the desired length. I recommend getting the largest O.D. spacer possible (allowing easy screw installation) for maximum stability. Run the screws up nice and tight but not too tight! It really works well.

Wanted a smaller size guide as I really wanted it not to protrude too far beyond the door itself and this fit the bill perfectly. Very sturdy and made of thick metal so no chance of it bending. Rollers move freely as well. The guide is very well-priced and shipped quickly.My only (minor) gripe is that my door is fairly close to the wall by design and barely clears the trim so I would have liked the inside roller to have a smaller diameter as on my installation it pushes the door slightly out so it is not quite perpendicular and this is with the guide mounted on the wall not on the baseboard.Would certainly buy again

I don’t write reviews on Amazon, but I thought I should this time. I could tell right when I opened the Amazon box that these were going to be excellent floor guides. They’re very heavy duty, they look fantastic, and (unlike with other brands) they barely stick out past the sliding barn doors. They come with all the hardware you need, and they even come with hemp tape for quieter operation of the rollers. For our doors, we used the 2 small rollers, set as far apart as they would go—and it’s a perfect fit.I really have no idea why the other brands make their floor guides so long (almost 5 inches), that’s a serious tripping hazard. Not so with these guides here.

I bought this floor guide even though my barn door hanging kit came with one. I didn't like the cheapness of the floor guide that came with my barn door hardware. It was small, plasticy and would eventually break in my opinion.What I like about this kit is it's heavy duty, has a nice big roller on the front, has a smaller roller on the backside, although I wasn't able to use it, and fairly easy to install.What I don't like about it and which is why i gave it 4 stars is the instructions were horrible. I was not able to use both the larger wheel (roller) and smaller roller at the same time.Even though the description states you can use this on a door up to 2 1/2 inches thick, I was not able to. My door is only 2 inches thick and when I tried to use both rollers my door just would not fit between them. Even though I slid the larger roller as far back as I can i still was not able to get my door in between. My only alternative was to remove the smaller roller. Now maybe this is what the manufacturer meant when they said it could accommodate a door up to 2 1/2 inches thick but I'll never know because the horrible instructions didn't state this information.Even though I had to install with only one roller my door does roll fairly smooth. I made sure to install the roller so that it's barely touching my door.

Not overly bulky. Worked perfectly for our 1-3/8 inch thick Masonite barn door using the two small ball bearing guides. A thicker door would likely require use of the felt strip for the guide on one side, which would not be as good. After installing, I realized our door came with a factory cut kerf in the bottom, thus we could have used another type of guide that would have been invisible. We're still happy with this one. One minor niggle; for the price, it should include two longer screws.

Very nice product, works well, no squeaking. My door is quite thick. I’m using the two small rollers spread apart as far as possible and the door is pretty tight inside. I could always take off the padding from the one on the inside and it would probably fit perfectly. I’ll use it as is though and hopefully the fabric breaks in a bit and the door starts to slide a little better. Overall it’s a great product and perfect solution for a sliding barn door.

in my opinion the roller bolts are are too short when used with providedwashers, only engaged about 2/3rds of very thin nut, but so far are doing the job.The rollers are quiet and smooth with felt atached however, within a day the felt started to separate from the adhesive strip that binds it to the roller andafter a week the felt is continuing to separate and will soon fall off.

Excellent product at an excellent price. I purchased one of these heavy duty roller guides for a barn door in our kitchen. I was so pleased with the quality, durability, and easy installation that I decided to put a barn door in master bedroom and I bought another roller guide.

Not all door setups are the same. But I’m my case this product was perfect. No ugly extra length sticks out.It was hard to find this size, but it was worth it.

Great product, exactly the needed product we were looking for. Dealer went above the call of duty to make sure we got them earlier. Good job guys !

Just got this from Amazon and installed, works fine and looks solid keeping the barn door steady and inline, only small problem at screwing in the screw of the bottom hole to the baseboard, you may need special angle driver adapter to drive in the screw straight in.
