Update: I reached out to MELT Method via their website to ask about purchasing a couple of replacement soft balls and it turns out they guarantee them for one year so they sent me two replacements at no charge. I’m still disappointed the soft balls only lasted a few months but at least they stood behind their product. Updated the rating to five stars. The program has really been great for me. Original review Five stars for the MELT program for hands and feet. It has been great for my plantar fasciitis and arthritic toes but I am extremely disappointed that BOTH of the large soft balls I purchased on 3/4/25 have gone flat and are useless. I have used them 3-5 times weekly for about 2 months. To make it worse, it appears they are not sold separately so I can’t replace just the large soft ball. I would have to pay another $50 for the whole set. Seems once you buy the set they should be willing to let you buy replacement balls and/or use higher quality materials so the balls don’t degrade so quickly.

My favorite foot rolling prop before these had been the Franklin Method green balls, but they're too large for targeted release on all the small joints of the feet and just cover the general area. I love the Rad Roller small black ball size, but it's WAY too intense for me to place my weight on. These MELT balls are just what I need! And given that the specialty ball sets are usually around $20, I didn't mind the price for the whole set. I can't even use the firm balls yet, but that's why I got these, because I've been working with the Rad Roller neuro ball and its tiny black ball inside. I crave the deep release, and will need to work up to the firm set, but for now am getting EXACTLY what I need from the soft balls. Thanks, MELT! Glad you popped into my head, from the old days of Class Pass, I used to see a MELT class nearby but never took it. While lamenting the firmness of the Rad balls, I saw the word MELT in my mind. Went to YT and saw a MELT video shot from underneath the floor of the squishy foot love and promptly ordered this set. Very happy with it.

I like this product. I can give myself a foot massage anywhere. I like the soft ball the best. I would like to have 4 large soft balls instead of the 2 firm balls. The firm ones feel like bouncy balls that I can get from a quarter machine and they hurt to put weight on, as there’s no give. The soft ones are special. You can put your weight on them and they feel like they’re pushing in pressure points and actually massaging. -Update 4/2024- After a month I don't use the soft balls much at all anymore. Now I like the firm balls, now they aren't painful to use. They feel good to use. I am ok with having 2 soft ones and 2 firm ones now. I thought that the firm ones were like quarter machine balls but they're not. They have a texture on them that is not sticky. These do not stick to my socks with I wear them and melt. I don't know if I'm suppose to but I do.

They are a bit expensive but you get a lot of them. ( 2 large soft, 2 large firm, and same in the small size + bunion band). The density is unique- they are different from other rubber or silicone balls. I watched the melt method YouTube videos since this did not include instructions. I use them almost every day and they hold up very well. I keep the bag next to my arm chair and do both the foot and hand treatments while watching tv in the evening. I’ve seen results.

I purchased these after a friend loaned me their Melt balls to massage out lumps I had in a foot. They worked phenomenally well. I purchased my own and have been using them for thumb pain. The only draw back is that they are best used on yourself because only you know when they are hitting the area that is experiencing the problem. There are many creative ways to use these balls to provide therapy…I have even laid on one and had it adjust my back.

Something changed in the last year because as another reviewer mentioned, there were no printed instructions, just a QR code to their website. I found some of their videos on YouTube, but I was looking forward to a printed guide to help me. We'll see how long the balls last, but they have helped.

Years ago I bought all the products - book, balls & foam roller. I let someone borrow the balls & book & never got them back. I was disappointed with what was included with the order I received - balls are fine but no included instructions like I had before & scanning a code didn’t work too well. It should include instructions

The balls are very easy to use and so easy to throw into my purse when I travel. And the help!!!

Foot release work along with hands and forearms, excellent

If you like a foot rub, or like me can't stand them, but your feet ache after being on them too long, in heels, overweight, plantar faciatis, or previous foot injuries, these MELT balls help. Small, lightweight, can take it with you anywhere for emergency foot cramps. Only drawback is that it is surprisingly expensive for what must cost only a few dollars to produce and isn't a complex technology to duplicate.

My rolfer recommended these. They get right into the small areas that I haven’t been able to get with other products. Steep for the price, but I’ve been in pain for over 5 years. I’m willing to try anything at this point!
