Hubble: A Journey Through Space and Time

Every few years I look for a new Hubble Space Telescope book to enjoy the images that come from the upgraded sensors and technology that have been added over the last 7 or 8 years. This book does not disappoint. So many breathtaking images (that really put you in your place and understand your place in the universe), and in a really well put together large format as well. Definitely recommended for cosmology / astrophotography fans, especially if you haven't purchased a Hubble product in a while.Will be interesting to see what the first books from the James Webb Space Telescope look like, but we've got a few years so enjoy this in the meantime. This is also a good "mobile" coffee table book too because unlike most coffee table books it doesn't way 47 pounds and/or completely cover a person's lap / lower body. Very easy to pick up, hold in one hand and thumb through with the other, while still maintaining that large format detail.

Amazing and Beautiful - it's is hard to say anything less.I could not wait to receiv this and when I received it I couldn't put it down. Not only are the pictures incredible, but it is packed with interesting facts not only about the data it obtains, but about how it came into being, and each of the missions that have served to give it the ability to provide those amazing images.this will become a treasured tennant of my bookshelf.

Bought this for my space-loving friend for Christmas. She adored it, started to flip through it, and forgot we were Skyping, so I suppose that's as good a recommendation as any. I certainly can't speak to the validity of the science, but it's a hefty, sturdy book with clear pictures. I thought it was worth the money.

What can you say about this beautiful book about Hubble? It's great. Really, really, really great. Unbelievable photos with text that weaves itself throughout the volume as if you're in the milky way right from your own living room. Out of this world! Run, don't walk...actually type as fast as you can and order now from Amazon!

This is a beautiful book thatll make you cry, love me some space clouds.

Really good contents, images and material (paper is semiglossy, so easy to read almost at any angle, no much reflection of light). I bought other 2 books about the Hubble telescope and 3 of them are complement. Very happy.

Short of actually going into space and seeing with your own eyes through a powerful telescope such as the Hubble, this is the next best thing.This publication is for your library of Astronomy, bar none.

Le livre en lui même est incroyable: très beau et très intéressant. La livraison quand à elle a été catastrophique: Le livre a été très mal emballé (pas de papier bulle à l’intérieur d'un simple carton ce n'est pas digne d'un livre comme celui ci), le carton est arrivé complétement déchiré avec des coins du livre apparents. Le livre a donc été endommagé!

A book that stuns it's readers with crisp photos and excellent narrative on the history and future of the Hubble - a must have for all space enthusiasts!

This is simply a stunning book. The pictures are of amazing quality and the text I found to be informative and easy to understand. Highly recommended.
