I didn't expect this to do as was described. But I was surprised it works great, sounds good, tone is ok and it is loud enough for my 90 year old father in law to hear. Batteries go fairly quickly so I recommend you get the optional power source.

The PRICE for one thing is ridiculous! I know people who can not read and this would be perfect for them, but many people can not afford 50.00-98.00 for them, not with the economy being on the downslide. It's a shame. Not only is the price ludicrous, but these things stop playing after a short time. Nice idea but they are cheaply put together. The CD disk reader(lens) gets dirty inside and you have to break the case open to try and clean/fix it. If not, it was a waste of money/garbage. The price for these should be around 15.00 and no more, based on quality/how cheaply put together they are. I suggest, if you have to have one, to look for them cheaper somewhere else. They are NOT worth this kind of money.

I really like product but did not receive the power adapter and headphones as advertised.
