Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the Swedish Death Metal veterans' 1991 debut featuring four bonus tracks. In league with acts such as Entombed, Morbid Angel, Obituary, Bolt thrower, Deicide and Cannibal Corpse, this album played a big part in the development of the 'Swedish Metal' sound. Probably one of the all time TOP 10 Death Metal albums ever, as long as Dismember live. Death Metal will reign.

The Pinnacle of European 90’s Death Metal
If you only listen to 1 Death metal album in your life, youre doing a disservice to yourself if its not this one. A crown jewel of the entire genre of death metal, a bonafide classic, and a style of its own (though they spawned many imitators like Entombed - Left Hand Path). Quality on vinyl was pristine and makes for a perfect album to frame on the wall.

Excellent Debut!
Searching for something different in death metal, not only endless blast beats and gutural vocals, i suddenly got into this album. Damned! This is the kind of metal i like, powerfull riffs, good composition an the lyrics fits perfectly, is fast and has its mid paced moments too. No tired nor boring, just Fantastic old school swedish death metal!, like i said, the kind of metal i like and love!Like An Everflowing Stream is the proof of evolution in metal in a very good way. Taking elements of thrash and turning then into something more agressive and mean. This album is a masterpiece, like most of death metal albums produced in sweden in the very beginning of the '90s.The other Dismember albums are good as well, but this started all.Since i listened to this one, i knew there was another world in metal universe. To all metalheads: This is MANDATORY! buy it, you won't regret it.

Definitely Death, but lacks substance
I had heard that this, Dismember's debut full length, was essential Death Metal, giving Entombed's first two records a run for there money. I guess I disagree. Entombed's Left Hand Path and Clandestine are better, in my opinion. I also prefer Dismember's later album, Death Metal. This is the work of a very young band, trying to shock the s*** out of their elders and peers. It is juvenile, needlessly graphic and violent, almost irresponsibly violent and gorey. But, hey, that's DM. But I prefer my Death a little more nuanced and philosophical, more spiritual than physical--a thinking man's murderer.Anyway, at least I received it (and in a timely manner), which is more than I can say for waipamusic: I'm still waiting for my copy of Left Hand Path. It's been over a month. I am not pleased. Waipa is wiped off of my list of credible suppliers.

Oh yah, now we're talkin'
Definitely one of the best albums I've heard in quite a while. Skull Crushing Awesomeness awaits all those who dare to purchase this purfect, wonderful album. I heard it twice through, and only got tired perhaps by the last two bonus tracks, they're a bit much of a GREAT thing. I've never heard of this group before but bought a bunch of stuff ofF the recommendations of RYM. Lost Gem this is, and the cover art is great. CD is done classy-like, sound is fine, the remastering is exceptional. This group deserves NOOOOOO LEEEESSSSSSS.... 0:<

Great album, decent vinyl
This is a great album and recommended to anyone who loves classic Swedish death metal, the vinyl is also pretty good quality, though I'd say the colors on the cover look a bit lower quality than I was hoping for.

Best since Abba
Abba were always known for the exquisitely layered sound, and although they are a different source of energy . . .Dismember are equal in brilliancy . . .multi - tempo'd soundscapes fit for a Vikings orgy on the swashbuckle . . .deep razor shifts in beat and beauty . . .Lemmy had begun to plant seeds way back in the 60s with The Vickers . . .then with Space Ritual in the early 70s with space - masters Hawkwind . . .then . . .Motorhead . . .An as anyone with a fraction of a brain cell can hear . . .his influence has been positively devastating . . .Mickey Dee,the Swedish Seat of Power, knows all there is to know about everything else in Central - Inner - Sanctum -hood . . .
