Less filament. ..about 1.1 lbs. (1/2 kilo)
I thought I was ordering a kilo of filament. This is about a half kilo. $46/kilo is more than I'd like to pay for ANY filament. Please put the weight at the top of your entry, or make it clear in the description.

Quality PLA with distinct coloring
The media could not be loaded. It's difficult for a company to distinguish their 3D printing filament without resorting to incorporating exotic materials into their plastic formulations. Unfortunately, filaments that incorporate exotic materials are typically more challenging to work with, don't work with every printer, and can be rather expensive. PLA is obviously the most common filament and the easiest to work with, but, with color choices being equal, there's usually little to distinguish one quality brand from another. Stronghero3D has addressed this issue of PLA distinction by creating a glossy gold color infused with additional colors like green and orange. The Stronghero3D comes packaged inside a solid cardboard box. As expected, the spool is shrinkwrapped with a silica gel pack. The PLA raw materials are from Natureworks 4032D with a roll size of 0.75 kg (1.65 lbs) in a standard 1.75mm diameter with the expected +/-0.05mm dimensional accuracy.Usage was straightforward. I placed it on my Creker 3D Printer Filament Spool Holder and used default settings on my New Matter MOD-t. As you can see from the output, overall quality was excellent, even on my modest test printer.Because of the way the roll is colored, you really don't know quite what the coloring of the final model will ultimately look like. For instance, my first prints were somewhere between a peach and a pink. While this is obviously a no-go for models that you need output as a specific, uniform color, it does create a great, distinctive look when the exact coloring doesn't matter.Pluses:- Clever concept- Quality design- Relatively inexpensive for an unusual filamentMinuses:- No way to predict the coloring of the outputSummary:If you don't mind unpredictable color output, the quality and distinct look of this unusual 3D printer filament is rather nice.

The material is shiny and seems good quality, but the colors are nothing like what's shown in the photo. DDD: dark, dull, drab. Not the bright rainbow, happy colors shown in the photo. Also, looking at the roll, I think I'm going to weigh it (minus spool weight) because it doesn't look to be as much material as my other new rolls.PLEASE offer choice of rolls with particular color sets... bright pastels, darker, etc. I understand they can't all be exactly the same, but at lease somewhat similar would be nice. I bought to try but am afraid to buy again. Many people probably feel the same. Re-order sales would be MUCH higher with consistent batches of color. What I was hoping for is what you have in the main product photo.Update: Weighed the roll. 906grams, INCLUDING spindle which is 166g by itself, so pay for 1kg and get 740g. This is obviously the same 750g rolls of this sold originally relabeled as 1kg. I still see huge potential in this, but please stop misleading customers, have 'bins' like 'bright, dark, blues' sort of color choices and this product could be a big hit.

The Good The filament is very good quality
The GoodThe filament is very good quality. Printed models look awesome. Has a nice gloss, not matte which I prefer. The color change is unique, and some models really benefit from it. Used a Prusa mk2s, stock PLA settings except temp 210CThe BadOnly 750 grams not 1000 grams. So you are paying more per gram of filament. Ordered 2 rolls. 1st roll I've printed 5 models already, small to medium in size but filament color change is so gradual my models coming out mostly 1 color. Unless they make the color changes more frequent your better off using this for big models only.

Great stuff for a daily printer. Adds a little variety to everything you print with it.
I'm about half way through this 1kg spool of filament, and I'm pretty happy with it. I haven't printed anything that uses enough filament to get the glorious color changes that I've seen in some of the other customer reviews but I really like this filament as a "standard" filament. It has performed admirably for me, and I like that I can print a bunch of things and that the colors are always a little different. It adds more variety to the little things and parts that just sit on your desk unfinished. I have had some noticeable color shifting in a few of my prints and have really enjoyed how that looks in those cases. I think I will definitely continue to use this filament as a day in and day out PLA and only swap it out for other colors when that more closely fits my needs for the specific print job. If you (like me) just have a bunch of little models and prints lying around all in the same color and would rather have a nice little variety without having to change the spool every time, this will definitely do the trick for you.

Looks Very Nice, Fun for big Prints.
Originally I had an issue with this filament, I got a nasty clog and it set me back a few days. But I can't be for sure that it was really the fault of this filament or if it was me or what really happened. I cleaned my tool head out and was able to print with this filament again so I have updated my review.I love that the colors are so vibrant. The color change is more sudden vs gradual but to me I didn't mind at all. I love coming back to my print and seeing all the colors. It's fun to print with. One thing to keep in mind is checking the true diameter of all the filament you print with. The pack I got measured closer to 1.6 than 1.75 so I just made sure to adjust it in Cura and I was good to go!

Affordability and durability
Some reviews have stated that the finished product didn't look as good as the sample demo online. I would have to agree. The mix of colors didn't pop so well on my final product.I still have the product as 4 stars for durability. Never had any problems with the spool feeding my machine unlike some products on the market. The price point was also good. I don't mind paying extra for quality and worth. I've bought more expensive filament reels that run like garbage in my machine.I would recommend this product for pricing and durability to be used for testing.
