I've had no problems with it . I'm happy about the fact that you don't have to point the remote at the device to get it to work. Also it's nice that you change the frequency channel that it operates on to avoid interference from other remotes etc.. The tripod head has a rechargeable battery, but remote takes two AAA regular batteries which it comes with, yet they should last a good while. Built very solid. I would highly recommend it, especially if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

JUST AS ADVERTIZED

Very disappointed in this product SCONPHO M-4 almost impossible to follow the instruction for set up. There seem to be another model if you want to call it that, the M-6 and when I try to follow on YouTube how to manually guide myself nothing was clear. Disappointed is a mild word for how I feel because I did not and will not get the pleasure to get it to work and my money back because I have pass the time limit for refund of my money. I think Amazon should take the product back and get my money back from the supplier, Amazon are the one who are vetting the supplier.

The first one of these I gat started malfunctioning, kept tilting up as soon as it was turned on and would not hold position. The second one worked as expected, mostly. The movement, especially the tilt, has a "flat spot", meaning it will get to the middle of the tilt and then jump instead of simply moving smoothly. The pan action is better but other than presetting the speed there is no control over the speed. It would be nice and far more useful, if one could apply varying pressure to the remote thereby being able to follow a subject that is not moving at a constant speed. The auto-panning/follow feature seems to only work with a person and gets confused in a crowd or even with a couple of people.Considering the price it is a usable, albeit limited, tool for your production kit.
