It's an addicting masterpiece that once you pick it up, you can't put it down. It will leave you craving more and will keep you coming back to it again and again. It's funny, sexy, swoony, and so damn sweet. It's literally everything.Clay is a star safety who just broke up with his girlfriend. She was his high school sweetheart and the person he thought was going to be the one. When she blindsides him with a breakup, he's desperate to do anything to get her back. Insert Giana Jones. Sweet, innocent, and awkward in all the best ways - Giana is the public relationships intern for the team. Long story short, they decide to strike up a fake dating/spice coaching relationship to make their respected crushes jealous and interested. But like all best-laid fake dating plans, these two don't anticipate the Fourth of July-like feelings that would soon grow between them.As I said, this book is everything. Clay is an elite book boyfriend. Giana is one of the best and most relatable female main characters. Their chemistry and relationship will have you feeling all of the things. I mean, when a sexy football player is reading her annotated books to please her, is there anything else one even needs to say except read this book? You will be so glad you did.

Fake dating, teach me, sports romance. Clay calls her kitten and reads her smutty books. This book was so good and I can’t stop thinking about it!

I love books that show the vulnerable side of men in relationships, like Clay overthinking the breakup with his ex and his current relationship with Giana.2. Clay is also a book boyfriend! Go figure! I love how he read the books Giana read because having someone understand you better by doing what you love has me in a chokehold.3. As someone who was part of multiple teams and never felt like they belonged, reading how the whole football team came together to help Clay was so sweet.Clay and Giana went through a lot during their fake relationship, and I'm glad they had a happy ending. The whole book is very easy to read while being spicy~ I couldn't put it down and can't wait to read Quarterback Sneak next, which is about Holden and Julep!

When I bought this book I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. I was just looking for a book to read while on vacation. Once I started this book I could not put it down! I finished it in 2 days! I love how Clay is this super tough guy but when Gina needs his help he doesn’t think twice. And as for Gina she comes off as this shy girl but in reality she knows what she wants and she is going to get it. If you are anything like me you are going to absolutely love this book! 5 Stars all the way around!

clay and giana are my babies! i loved them so so much and can't wait to read their story again (bc i will definitely be rereading this a million times). this was my first kandi book and to say that it was amazing world be an understatement. i am obsessed with everything about this book. the tropes, the characters, the romance, the writing. like everything was perfect and i never wanted the book to end. and can we talk about how clay would steal and read giana's romance books to take note of what she likes!?! hello!? i need a clay in my life so if anvone knows where to find him please let me know!! but i think it's safe to say that this book was amazing and it is definitely the start of a soon to be growing kandi steiner collection

I also appreciated the balance between romance and character development. The growth and transformation of the main characters throughout the story added depth and authenticity to their love story. It was refreshing to see them overcome their personal obstacles, making their happily-ever-after all the more satisfying.Lastly, the pacing of the book was spot-on. Each chapter flowed seamlessly into the next, leaving me hooked and unable to put it down. The author's ability to build tension and anticipation had me on an emotional rollercoaster, and the resolution left me with a warm, fuzzy feeling that only a great romance novel can evoke.

This was my 1st book from this authorand i loves it so very much love the trope loved the spicyness everything was perfection 🤌🤌🤌🔥🔥 def recommend i read 2 books of the serie but this one was my fav

The fake-dating trope is very predictable, you always know what the outcome will be but you dive in anyways.I loved this book! I was so invested in Clay and Giana. The dual point of view is one of my favourites - I love getting the insight into the thoughts and emotions of both characters.The emotion that Kandi gave to Clay when he was making tough decisions that he didn’t really want to make had me all up in my feels!

Incredible follow up to Fair Catch! I can not wait to read the rest of this series. Clay and Giana have my whole heart
