Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertized and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon, and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Seller's have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

What I was looking for - could be sturdier
I wanted a small low-cost stand for my phone that I could use horizontal for videos as well as vertical for reading. This little stand does both well. The legs are very bendy and I've used it in a myriad of positions already, even securing it against the side of my bathtub to ready while relaxing in the bath. I use a samsung galaxy s10 and it fits very securely and easily into the holding slot. While it suits my needs, I will say the legs aren't super sturdy. With an accidental nudge or my cat pushing her face against it, it will bend them a bit and can topple the phone if the phone is vertical and the new shape doesn't balance the weight. Or if you're trying to get the perfect balance and then readjust the phone on the ball joint to a new angle, that small movement can change the shape and you have to redo it to get the balance again. But it's low cost and will balance correctly once you've got it in the shape you need.

risky to put an expensive DSLR on this tripod with thin flimsy legs
The images don't do justice to this tripod: when I received it and saw how thin and flimsy the tripod legs are, I returned it.Wouldn't place an expensive DSLR, weighing 2lbs with a 4" zoom attached, on top of this tripod, especially as the legs don't open wide and the camera would be on a narrow, less stable base. Here is the small tripod I used for many years with my smaller camera, it has been outstanding and gone on many trips: Pedco UltraPod Lightweight Camera Tripod . The larger version works great on my 2lb DSLR with 4" zoom lens: Pedco UltraPod II Lightweight Camera Tripod and is only 6" and easily portable anywhere.

Rubbish. Poorly made screws stripped immediately.
Plastic bracket for holding phone has inexpensive threads to hold it on the tripod. The tripod has a cheaply made bolt. The tripod bolt and the bracket screws managed to strip (one or the other) immediately.I did a little checking and found that I can attach the bracket to another, better-made tripod. So the phone bracket, while made from cheap plastic, is serviceable. The bolt on the tripod, however, is not.You can find on Amazon better made phone brackets made from aluminum and stronger parts, and they go on tripods very sturdily. This unit, bought for a young person, costs half as much, but is worth very little.

Flimsy and fragile stand
I had this product little over a month and used it less than 5 times. But the last time I used it with my phone to stand vertically the flexible legs bent over and fell cause to break the rotation neck. So, no I'm not going to buy this product again. Instead I'll buy it from 99cents/dollar store since they have it there for $1.50 exactly the same item.

Don't waste your money
Both I have ordered has lasted less than a month and broke. Unless you buying this to use a very few times I wouldn't purchase. It worked great to put on hospital bed to video chat family but after using it a few times it broke.

I am certain it will break soon.
I was looking for lightweight and able to fit in gear bag/ backpack. It is extremely flimsy. Trying to pan the phone camera results in very non-smooth and jerky motion. The legs feel like they will bend or twist at any moment. I’ve decided to give it to a friend for his 7 year old to play with. As I suspected, it’s wiser to spend closer to $50 to get something usable, but be careful, there are a ton of very similar models like this which are also low in quality, but being sold for a lot more. Make sure what you get is returnable.

Very awesome
Very awesome little tool to use when you want to talk to someone or if your washing dishes and would like to watch a video on your phone. I love how you can move practically every part of the little tripod to get it to your desired area to see. You can also wrap it on chairs or anything the tiny tripod can wrap around!!! The only downside I would say it’s not very durable, it feels very cheap so I feel it may break at any given moment, otherwise very awesome little tool and good stocking stuffer!!!

This didn't even come with the grip to hold your phone
This only came with the legs, and didn't even include the grip part to actually hold your phone/camera. So unfortunately completely useless.
