Terrific training pouch
This sturdy pouch is really well designed and so much better than the last one I had. I especially appreciate its easy to open stay shut hinge as well as its large capacity. If you need lots of pockets in your dog's treat bag this may not be the pouch for you, but for everyone else it is terrific.

My first Terry Ryan pouch lasted 18 years!
I purchased my first Terry Ryan pouch 18 years ago and just this year it gave it's last walk. I am SO glad I found another one. I imagine this will last another 18 years! My only wish is that it had a zipper pocket in the back.....however, it will still be the best I am sure of that!

Pouch
I like that this pouch can be either worn with the adjustable belt it comes with or can be clipped to my own belt or waistband. I also like the closure .

Cheaper version of the original.
There is no zipper pocket in back on this new version. Everything else seems to be pretty similar. I've had my original Terry Ryan Premier treat pouch since around 2005. We volunteered for a local trainer, foster, did agility, etc. So that old pouch got a lot of use and it held up really well. It's needed minor repairs over the years until finally the metal band snapped. I see reviews of that happening to this new version much much sooner than later. We'll see how it goes. I wish the Premier version was still available with it's same quality. I think many of us looking for a durable treat pouch would still pay good money for one. I know I would have paid twice as much for one knowing that it would last close to 20 yrs like the original did.

Great size, easy to access treats
I love this treat pouch because it’s big enough to easily slip my hand in and it holds a ton of treats. Plus the metal springs snap shut adequately to keep the treats in, but aren’t difficult to open. I’ve had other brands of treat pouches where the springs snap shut so tightly that they are very difficult for someone with arthritis to open. Not a problem with this model. Highly recommended.

My "go-to" bait bag recommendation for clients
I LOVE these bait bags and they are included on my "Equipment List" for my obedience, nosework, and service dog students.I especially love how easily it closes - but can also easily open with one hand, and stays open. Especially good for disabled clients. Versatile.Washable for when you forget your hotdogs or cheese sticks inside. Some students have had trouble using it when it's open - because their cookies fall out when they bend over. But I advise them to adjust where it sits on their waist - and the problem is solved.

Great pouch but cheap parts
I use this pouch several times a day while walking my dog. It does just what it's supposed to do. Just bought another one...and that's the problem. Just bought my fifth one of these is 5 years. About every year, the same small part breaks. There is a small flat spring that wraps around the hinge pin on each side of the opening. These springs keep the pouch closed. The spring also retains the hinge pin. When the spring breaks, the pin falls out and the pouch hangs open. Each year this breaks and I have to buy another pouch. It's a 10 cent part that I would gladly pay 20 cents for them to upgrade to a better quality spring!

Broke the first day using it
2 of these pouches in a row have broken during their first day of use. One of the hinges on the front of the pouch just completely snapped in half, in the exact same spot on both bags. The first Karen Pryor treat pouch I had (purchased from a local, independent bricks and mortar store) lasted over 6 months of heavy use before finally breaking, so I don't know what's up with these Amazon pouches. Super frustrated that they keep breaking on me because I love this design!

Great start, broke after 1 month with average use
This treat pouch is very easy to use and I like that it fits around the waist and is easy to wipe clean. After 1 month the hinge that clicks open or closed has let go. I am one day past my return window. I am disappointed that it only lasted a month but will continue to use it somewhat combersomely.

LASTED A FEW DAYS until the closure clips broke
With light use for a few days the inside clips that make the pouch 'snap' closed (secured) became unsecured and now it doesn't close properly. The fabric seems sturdy so it is a shame that the hardware isn't up to the task.
