In general I like this knee brace as it is very comfortable fabric on the knee and below. However, although I measured as indicated for the thigh circumference (which came to 19" -- high end of medium, low end of large according to their chart) and ordered a large, it is much too tight at the point above the thigh. It may be that these size recommendations are based on athletes or much younger, firmer people. I tried it on and it was okay lying in bed but when I got up it pinched my thighs and also was quite unsightly because of the flesh bulge at the top. I could never wear it with shorts, which would have been one of the main purposes while exercising.

I ordered according to the measurements but it is tight. My top measurement was 19" so I ordered a L but think I should have ordered the next size up even though it was the bottom number of the scale. A little too tight and if I order again, will order the XL...Like how it works, just too tight for me.

I've ordered several copper knee braces/supports. This product is much more comfortable. It has strong compression without pinching along the top. It does not curl or change position. I like it so much, I will be ordering another set in the next few days, using the 20% off coupon included in the box.

The BQG Knee Supports do exactly that. They support my knee. Without the brace my knee pops constantly and i get pain in the joint. With the brace it pops rarely and don't have pain. I am waiting for the results of an MRI to find out what the problem is but the brace allows me to function. They are supposed to fit tight to give you the support you need. I would follow the measurement/size recommendations.

These are very well made sleeves that reliably stay where they are positioned. I re-injured my knee and wanted something to assist with mobility, that would stabilize, and would limit my need for otc meds. I ordered a small because my knee measured 16.75 inches; I should probably have ordered a medium but ordered small and it's a wee bit tight. I have no way to compare the two sizes so I may have exactly the right thing.

Best knee support on the market. The size was a perfect fit (I measured my knee before ordering) and the sleeve stays where I put it. It does not slip down. Stays firmly in place. Excellent support and value.

Not a bad product, comfortable, provide support, but will run on you.… Meaning you will have to pull them up for the course of the day if you wearing it from extended period of time.

I bought it to help me in tennis, as my knee is giving a bit of pain. It is of very comfy and seemingly durable material. I bought the supposedly right size for my knee, but I wish it were a bit tighter as I have to pull it up all the time during a match. I recommend buying two sizes (yours and one smaller), and try both.
