CF Card Reader, Compact Flash Memory Card Reader, CompactFlash Cards USB Reader/Writer

I bought an older e-drum module that uses compact flash and grabbed this to backup / move kit data. Worked like a charm to backup the settings and could then reset it and load new kits secure that I had the original setup. Great value and super helpful to have access to older tech that still has years of use left in it.

USB adapter works fantastically well. I've used it with multiple CF cards without issue.

I needed a way to move files from my very old HP Jornada handheld computer to anything else. Its only ports are IR, Serial and a PC card slot. It does have a Compact Flash expansion slot though. So any internal files can be copied to a compact flash card. This reader worked great with all but one card that I had. It even connected perfectly through an OTG cable to my Galaxy Note 10+ and moved files in an instant. (To be fair, they weren't large files...) It has made it nice to be able to use that little computer as well as my old NEC Mobile Pro 900! (It also has a Compact Flash slot) For the money, this is a great little reader.

This reader won't last. There is no deep channel to guide the card in correctly, it just goes in a couple of millimeters until it hits the pins. Very soon one or more pins will bend rendering the reader useless. (I actually bought two, one lasted 3 card insertions, the other 5 insertions). Replaced with an older Sandisk reader from an auction site which is built much better and should last. Stay away from this Onefavor reader.

I just picked up an older camera that uses CF cards and needed a reader to download with. Great value, easy to use, no long cable to get tangles. Good answer for an old problem.

Card reader feels cheap but both the card and card reader worked in my old kodak camera.

CF card and USB reader arrived as advertised. However, note that the 8GB CF card runs VERY slow even by the old CF card Type I standard. The card barely achieved 4 MB/s in the sequential benchmark (with only .2 MB/s random write), and my 20+ year-old camera is very slow to write to it. The card may work fine if you are only using it to run or extract old industrial machines. The reader on the other hand works just fine.
