Ball Valve Lockout, Adjustable Ball Valve Lockout Device, Small, for 1/2"-2-1/2" Outside Pipe Diameter, Red, Outdoor Water Spigot Lock Industrial Faucet Handle Locks Pipeline Valve Locking Device

They do exactly what they were designed to do, make it well known that a valve is locked out. I use a full compliment of LOTO devices and I was short a few for ball valves that I needed to leave behind on the last contract. They fit well and worked exactly as I needed them to. Quality seems to be just fine and they were easy to adjust and get set to fit different sizes of ball valves.

Have a house at the beach with a lever handle. Unfortunately weekly rentals next door started using the water and leaving it running when they were finished! This solved that problem

Only thing I disliked is that it's plastic metal would've been better.. overall it fit perfectly on the spout.. now the kids in the neighborhood won't run my water bill up sneaking water to play orbee wars without my consent.. everything In picture is what I received 2keys lock and safety grill.. thanks

Please didn't work for my spigots... But still a great idea

It is better that the other model I used before. Easy to install and very safe.

Locks in place but can be removed without unlocking so it doesn't do what it is designed to do. Serves as a deterrent if not looked at closely.

Inexpensive and effective. Works to lock a ball valve either on or off. Gives people "the message" but is ultimately little deterrent to someone with bolt cutters or other tools. I won't be at all surprised if the long-term welching renters destroy it or the valve within a week or so.
