The battery is an odd size so just be aware you won’t find it at a pharmacy or grocery store readily. I found it at batteries plus and always in stock. The unit is very durable. I have had this for over two years and has gotten wet numerous times and no issues. We use it when we leave the house as the dog would bark and disrupt the neighbors. Easy to put on the dog. It has broken him of his barking habit and we don’t use it much anymore as a result. Worth the investment. We don’t leave it on the dog long cause it has prongs that press into the dogs skin. It emits a beep beep when dog barks or loud whines. It does not shock and that’s what we didn’t want for the dog. The last battery died and we have put it on a couple times and the dog knows and does not bark and reminds himself not to again and we don’t have to use it again for a really long time. We have been very happy with the durability, ease of getting on and off the dog and very happy at the end training results

I have a chiwinnie, Mexican hairless mix and he responded to the collar very well. When he has it on it immediately changes his attitude and he seems to stay calm and quite with it on.When we first put the collar on him, It only took him one time to find out what it was capable of. Bark, first beep, bark, second beep, bark, then the vibration alert. Stage three made him jump but he was completely fine after. We have it on the loewst setting which seems to work fine. He hasn't got to stage three singe haha so it seems to be working. I'm very happy with this collar because I was skepital to buy it in the first place for him because I'm not really fond of bark collars. This one is appropriate and painless and has a great response. In People's they've complained about the extra length on the collar but I haven't had any problems with it. You can cut the extra length off and then burn the edges of the rope oruse glue to them together so they dont fray. All in all very happy with this item.

I have three little dogs and I was using the citronella version of these, but after about a year, all the dogs became resistant to those devices and I began to receive complaints of dog barking from the neighbors. I bought these devices and so far they are great! When the dogs are wearing these the house is strangely quiet, my peace has been restored. I like these better than the citronella devices because you don't have to buy refill spray and when they go off only the offending dog is affected. These are great affordable devices and so far I would highly recommend.

This is actually a terrible bark collar to use on small dog if you have more than one dog! When one of the other dogs barks near the dog wearing it, it will set the collar off on the dog who is wearing it. So the dog that is wearing the collar get the correction even if he/she is not the one barking! I only recommend this collar if you have ONE DOG! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COLLAR IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE DOG! The company that makes this collar should fix this problem!

This collar is very inconsistent. It will beep when the dog isn't doing anything and when he's barking it doesn't work. Save your $20 and put it towards a collar that works!!

As many other reviewers have pointed out, the product after a month or so of use stopped working completely. Even with brand new batteries in it, it gives the 'low battery' beeping noise constantly - on and off the dog, with or without noise stimulation. Can't leave such an annoying and inconsistent product on my pup. Do not buy.

This collar works wonders, after the first day of my dog wearing it, her barking diminished. Im also happy the collar does not hurt or cause any harm to my dog. The collar simply beeps and uses vibration to remind the dog not to bark. This thing is awesome!

Extremely poor quality. The plastic which covers the battery compartment falls off and and the battery falls out I was sent a replacement one and it does the same. I wouldn't waste my money on one of these.

Amazing wish we had bought it 12 months ago it truly works cannot believe the difference it makes now would like something to stop him jumping on the furniture /work tops to stop him pinching food
