When Did Narcissism Become So Much Fun?
The blurb totally sold me on this book-it made me laugh out loud. At times, the book did too. The premise was a hoot, and the author's inner monologue is pretty much non-stop fun.Yet, there were moments when I found myself tiring of the author and her um, obsessions. I fell in love with "husbot" Ken, who I found to be long-suffering and endearing. I loved when she took a moment out from her complaining or reminiscing to actually sing Ken's praises. He sounded strong, sexy, and (mostly) fabulous. If you are not a fan of sarcasm, this book is not going to be for you. This is definitely an 18+ read, based on the steam factor, adult situations, as well as language.

Raunchy and VERY Funny!!!
Loved!! Sexy and refreshingly funny. I heard so much about this book and picked it up when I was craving something different and light. Sort of a book within a book, 44 Chapters is in the form of a journal written by a wife and mother who is experiencing something of a lull in her marriage. She was a tattooed wild child who ended up married to an accountant! How did that happen?!"It’s a beautiful life Ken has given me, one filled with security and laughter and intelligent conversation and honeymoons in Paris and well-behaved children with long attention spans and cute noses and his-and-hers sinks and 401(k)s and well-manicured lawns. I just wish the orgasms matched the drapes, if you know what I mean."BB adores her husband Ken but things have gotten a little .... quiet. BB discovers that Ken may have secretly read parts of her journal, and when he does, things get MUCH spicier and hotter between them. Thrilled with Ken's newfound interest in sex, BB decides to embellish the stories of her past boyfriends. The writing is absolutely charming and hilarious, written as if BB was talking to a best friend. I was really hoping for Ken to wake up and take an interest in his marriage because it was obvious they had amazing chemistry together."What he does have is a Captain America–style square jaw with a subtle cleft and a permanent five o’clock shadow. He also has enviously high cheekbones. His aqua-blue eyes are hooded by long espresso-colored lashes, and his sandy-brown hair is just long enough on top to allow for a good grip. His physique is lean yet muscular. His sense of humor is dry. He is brilliant and self-deprecating, and he has the ability to skip rocks across any body of water (a secret turn-on of mine). "This book is best enjoyed with glass or two of wine. I can't believe this is BB Easton's debut book! Each of her past boyfriends was charming, dangerous, sweet and sexy in their own way. I loved the descriptions of teenage first love and the '80s references were priceless. BB Easton is nothing if not brutally honest. Her descriptions of married life and babies are spot-on. Everyone can relate to this story! BB spends much of the book hoping that her straight-laced husband will get her name visibly tattooed somewhere on his body. And she just wants him to be a little more aggressive. She doesn't think she is asking for too much!"I want to take him with me everywhere. I want us to live a hundred years and die at the same time. I want them to mix our cremated remains together, dump us into a river, and watch our mingled ashes swirl like coffee creamer all the way to the ocean. I want our souls (okay, my soul and his, whatever he has, operating system?) to find each other on the other side as soon as possible just so that we can fall in love and make more babies and do it all over again. I just also want him to f-k my brains out. "This is a very funny book, written with great sensitivity and a sharp eye for detail. BB Easton has already written the next book in this series which is about her boyfriend Knight. What a character!! I can't wait to read his story, 'Skin.' I was pleasantly surprised by this wild and crazy story! After reading this, I feel like BB Easton is an old friend. I love her writing style! Pick up this book if you're in the mood for a funny, very raunchy story.

♥️🌼🔥HOT...FUNNY....ORIGINAL...AND A DAVID ALLEN COE REFERENCE...♥️🌼🔥
I don’t even know where to begin....I went in having no idea what the book was about....44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN was more than I could have hoped for...Five Stars is an insult....I laughed so much reading this book....and although he is young enough to be my son, I fell in love with Ken...just fell right in love with him...♥️🌼🔥Even after reading the whole book, I don’t know which parts are fact or which ones are fiction.....I think it’s probably a mixture, but it doesn’t even matter...Even if half of it is true, B. B. Easton has lived one h#ll of a fun and exciting life....And, even if none of it’s true, she’s a bada$$ author...And, this book is definitely deserving of a Netflix series.... Congratulations on that, B. B. Easton!!!♥️🌼🔥I have to give a shout out to her for using a David Allen Coe reference...As someone who is old enough to have seen him in concert, back in the day, I believe he would have loved the way his words were used in this book....(If you haven’t heard DAC sing You Never Even Called Me By My Name, you need to...all the way through...It was the perfect reference...) I, SERIOUSLY, LOVED THIS BOOK...♥️🌼🔥

Not my cup of tea, but entertainig.
I don't even know where to start with my feelings about this book. I think it's awesome that B.B. Easton took a topic all too common in mundane married life and wrote about her experiences with it. Some of her experiences were crazy, some were funny, some were a little scary, and some were kind of sad. They all made her seem like someone who couldn't let go of her wild and crazy past. I get the wanting to up her sex game with her husband, but reading about her manipulating him just ended up making me feel sorry for Ken. He seemed like a good guy who would want to please his wife with almost anything. I just wanted her to communicate with him directly rather than get all crazy and make up stuff. Can Ken write his own memoir about what was happening at in his mind at the time of this experiment? To be honest, I wasn't really a fan of the format of this book. It was a bunch of diary entries, text messages and e-mails. I think I might have enjoyed reading it more if it was written as a story. I say that because I read the preview of the next book in the series, Skin, at the end of this book and it was written this way. I found myself more interested in the Skin preview than I was for this entire book.Overall, this was an entertaining read. It just wasn't my cup of tea. I am still thinking about reading Skin.

OMG!
Where to start? I FREAKING LOVED THIS READ..... I have never laughed so much when reading in my life, I could relate to so much and truly wanted to relate to more. BB's teen years are a scream, and to use her experiences ;) to lure the stunning Ken into releasing his inner sex God was genius. I felt I knew each and every conquest personally but, I must admit I think you have won a watch with the wonderful Ken He is my favourite X)A truly, truly must read

This book was hilarious and romantic and sad and just perfect
This book was hilarious and romantic and sad and just perfect. I flew through this read in a couple of days and found myself giving my co-workers quotes during the day, still finding them laugh out loud funny! I was reading it thinking, I wonder how much is fiction and how much is real? I think that's the beauty of it, that its so real, you have no idea where the lines are drawn. Can wait for the next 4 instalments due. Yes 4! But I already know that Ken is my favourite <3 BB Easton, thanks for sharing your life and men with us x

filthy, funny, gloriously unashamed
Oh wow I enjoyed this book SO much. It made me laugh hysterically: it was just so honest and clever. Brilliant to have the romantic view and then the actual reality - means you get to enjoy a proper romance amazing escapist read, while at the same time hearing about what really happened. The fact that it's all true made it even better!

Wow!!!
I read a lot and have no idea why I'm only just reading this author's work. This is also my first time reading a memoir and I must say I am highly impressed. Well written a definite must read.
