I had something similar before from Meross, it worths the price and automation with HomeKit is perfect

I love this Meross diffuser
This is the third diffuser from the brand Meross that I’ve bought. They’re all set up in HomeKit with automations. I think I’ll place this one in the dining room so that when I have guests over, the space will have a pleasant scent. The oils are really cheap here on Amazon. Plus, the light tone of the diffuser, which I can set to any color I want, also helps create a nice atmosphere.

Cool and does the job, but issues with the actual lid
This diffuser is SO cute. So so cute. It works well with the app sometimes but I just don't use the app for this diffuser. I use it religiously, because I love making my room smell nice (it currently smells like a bakery in here!) But I had a problem that started a month into having it, and it slowly got worse. The ability to screw it open to clean and refill became more difficult, and then at one point it just became so difficult to close it completely. The inner plastic for the lid to keep it secure and keep the water from going everywhere just stops screwing in properly now. So, durability issue, for sure. But it's cute and works well other than that! The mist doesn't come out right anymore, either, but, again, it still works. Maybe clean it way better than I ever did, or don't use it religiously

So far So Good.
I just got the diffuser all hooked up and so far I like it. If it lasts for at least a year or two it will be a great buy.It took me a little while, but I got it hooked up to HomeKit. The first thing I had to do was go to my router settings and temporarily disable my 5ghz connection so the device could find only the 2.4 connection. Even when I disabled the 5 ghz connection, the device still would not connect to HomeKit. I restarted my internet and restarted the device and finally got it to pair. I have a few other Meross devices and they pretty much stay connected to HomeKit at all times and I am hoping this device does the same.I love that it has a built-in humidity sensor, so I can simply ask Siri what the humidity is in the basement (the room I have the diffuser in). I also love that I can control the light and diffuser separately. When I tell Siri to turn the lights in the room a certain color, the light on the diffuser simply acts as another light in the room and responds accordingly. Same with telling it to turn the room lights on and off.The only thing I do not really like so far is the Green light signfying the wifi connection status and that the device has power. I really wish there was a way to disable that light because I find it slightly annoying aesthetically.I bought one of the popular higher priced scents on Amazon and it smells divine. The diffuser is doing a great job of really dispersing the scent. Now I just need to set up some automations to have it turn on randomly throughout the day! If this device holds up, I am going to buy 2-3 more for my home.

Horrible product
If I could give it zero stars, I would. I got the product and the only way this diffuser can work is if it’s connected to HomeKit. It’s always dropping from HomeKit. The buttons doesn’t work when you press it. You automatically reboot the device and take it off line when you press any button.Support is horrible. They won’t respond to you especially after you follow all of the steps. DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT!!!

A nice little diffuser with a decent home automation feature
Was looking for a diffuser for my office. This one came up in the search for a very competitive price with the ability to connect it to my Apple Home automation network. Seemed like a no brainer. It connected to Homekit without any problems. It gives you the ability to control the output of mist at different intensities as well as control the intensity and color of the LED light that is built into it. Have been using it for awhile now without any issues. I use distilled water and mix in a few drops of essential oils that we purchased for use with it seems to fill the room with the scent (and humidity) fairly quickly. Feel very good about my purchase.

Poorly made with even poorer customer service - Update 04/30/2023
I ordered this product after seeing a very positive review on a popular website that I trusted. I wanted to get this for my wife who likes to have an essential oil diffuser on her side of the room.After placing the order and receiving the product I tried getting it set up in HomeKit. At first the device was recognized by the Meross app and everything looked like it was going to work and then I got an error. After trying for a few days resetting the device and trying to get it into HomeKit I emailed support who provided me the same instructions I had been using previously.After a few more emails they provided a link for those who use Eero devices (NOTE: if you use Eero for your router and use HomeKit stay away from Meross devices). I then followed the Eero SPECIFIC troubleshooting step without success and shortly after that every time I reset the diffuser it was no longer recognized by the Meross app, let alone adding it to HomeKit.I finally gave up trying to use the "Smart" features and then tried using it as a plain essential oil diffuser until one day I picked it up to clean it and the exterior began chipping and flaking in my hand. Another set of emails to Meross customer support telling them I wanted a replacement or a refund, preferably a refund, led me to another round of "troubleshooting" emails. With ever response back to Meross I let them know I did not want to troubleshoot the product that was slowly molting on my wife's nightstand and that I wanted a refund.The last email I got from Meross completely ignored what I have been asking for since the second round of emails and provided yet ANOTHER list of steps to perform to get the "smart" features working.Don't waste your money or your time on Meross products if you use Eero and HomeKit, it'll only cause frustration.--- Update 04/06/2023 ---After firing off some not too polite emails to Meross they have agreed to send me a replacement for testing. If something positive comes of it I will update again. I now give this product two stars, but barely, because Meross has agreed to take some steps to resolve the issue.--- Update 04/30/2023 ---I received a replacement and have successfully been able to add the device to HomeKit and the Meross app. I have updated my review to three stars since I have been issued a replacement and was able to get it added to HomeKit.
