I purchased the HOT TOOLS Professional Black Gold Micro-Shine Flat Iron and it is truly Professional! I have thick, course hair and it straightens and curls my hair quickly! This flat iron heats up in seconds and my hairstyle holds for days.

Absolutely worth the money and I’d definitely recommend it. If you’re on the fence, just buy it. My hair has a mixed texture and tends to be naturally dry, wavy, and frizzy. This straightener works better than anything I’ve used before! It smooths and straightens my hair effortlessly. A heat protectant spray is a must, and I love that it comes with a glove, which is especially helpful if you want to use it as a curler. It heats up to 455°F in about two minutes, which is incredibly fast. I was also skeptical about the 1.25-inch size because it didn’t seem wide enough for my thick, unruly hair, but it’s actually perfect as designed. It's actually pretty sleek and I can pack it in my purse to travel. I’ve had no issues with the placement of the heat knob either. It's easy to grip as well. I finally retired my old Conair straightener for this one, and my only regret is not switching sooner. Hands down the best straightener I’ve ever owned. Try it for yourself!! Fonctionne comme un charme. Il chauffe à la vitesse "grand V" et glisse superbement bien sur le cheveu. Je ne pouvais pas demander mieux. Je viens de le recevoir et je l'ai essayé tout de suite!! Je suis enchantée. J'espère qu'il sera durable mais la construction semble solide et durable. Petit bémol. Pas d'instruction en français.
