Perfect for making an antenna Corona ball
I have used these with great success to make corona balls for mobile HF whip antennas.

Not spherical.
The ball is flattened along the drilled axis. Probably the pressure from the drill. This will not matter for many applications, but I expected a ball to be round.

These make really nice pummels. Easy to shape and thread.

Not a 1 inch ball
While the ball is likely aluminum it is not 1 inch in diameter as advertised. I was disappointed because the description talked about the precision and reliability of the product. The description on the package even says 1 inch in diameter. It makes me question if the material is 100% aluminum as advertised. It has no magnetic attraction and it is light in weight for a metallic substance but it is only about 1/2” in diameter. See the photo.
